Since 2009, the China Sewing association has organized two professional skills competition for sewing machinery industry nationwide (hereinafter referred to as "contest"). Taking the national professional qualification evaluation system as the criterion of competition, the competition is guided by practical application and focuses on the practical application ability of the players. Lin Jianlong: the contest is organized in the form of regional trials and finals. The first competition was successfully held from April 2009 to September. The first competition was set up in five sub districts including Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Beijing. The finals were held in Shanghai in September of that year. As the preparatory work has been done in advance, the competition has aroused positive response in the industry. The five sub division trials have attracted more than 500 athletes to register, and the personnel have radiated 18 provinces, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Beijing. Through the competition, nearly 300 athletes obtained intermediate skill occupation qualification certificate, 50 players were selected by the association as the winners, the top 3 competitors were qualified as technicians, and awarded by the China Light Industry Federation the honorary title of "the national light industry professional technical expert". Among them, the first player was selected by the national Ministry of human resources and social security as the "national technical expert".

On the basis of the first competition, the Sino Japanese Association organized the second competition from April 2010 to September 2011 with the organization and personnel team of the first competition. The second competition has been innovating in the organization and operation mode. The competition consists of 8 sub divisions including Hubei, Henan and Jiangsu. The finals were held in Shanghai in September 2011 in CISMA2011. The second competition was also successful and smooth, with the scale and influence surpassing the previous one. It attracted nearly 2000 practitioners to participate in the examination training. More than 1200 athletes entered the competition, and the staff radiated more than 20 provinces and cities. Through the competition, more than 560 athletes have obtained the qualification of the vocational qualification certificates at all levels. Through the efforts of the two competition, the competition has gradually matured, and has become one of the main means for the association to promote the training and optimization of vocational skills in the industry. Through holding competitions, the role and influence of the association in the training of skilled talents in the industry is also increasing. The competition also played a good incentive role for the industry employees to learn technology, study business and improve their post skills. Lin Jianlong: To sum up, we believe that the success of the competition has the following main points:

First, the organization of sports events is reasonable. In order to better play the role and influence of the competition, the Sino Russian Association has adopted the "four sides and three homes" mode in the establishment of the organization of the event, that is, the Sino Japanese Association as the host unit, the general station and the information center as the contractors, the standard companies as the exclusive sponsors, and the China Light Industry vocational skill appraisal guidance center as the supporting unit. In order to better play the role of standard companies in sponsoring enterprises, the association has clearly defined its role. Apart from providing funds and material guarantees for the competition, standard companies also need to cooperate with the Organizing Committee in recruiting and publicizing activities.

In addition, the association also actively invited the clothing association of the sub district to participate in the organization and promotion of the event as a co operation or support unit. The co operation and support units are not fixed and vary according to the different regions. Facts have proved that the organizational structure of the vocational skills competition is reasonable, and local cooperation units play a good role in organizing and promoting the competition.

Secondly, the responsibilities of internal division of labor are clear. In terms of the division of tasks, in order to better play the respective advantages of the competition organization units, the association has made a clear confirmation of the internal division of labor. The overall difficulty of the testing project is based on the difficulty of national vocational qualification examination. At the same time, we take into account the problem that the contestants are not suited to the competition. The examination questions are designed to match the actual situation of the contestants, such as skill testing, fault diagnosis, and the assessment of players' analytical ability and comprehensive experience. Only players need to write fault phenomena, judge the causes of the faults, and get adjustment methods without actual operation. In order to ensure the normal level of players, the machine is disassembled and assembled. A limited time limited method is adopted. Players can not finish the game within a limited time. Therefore, I believe that the association should unswervingly carry out the skills competition and keep it healthy, and optimize it constantly to form a good long-term mechanism. To this end, the competition also needs to increase guidance and publicity, optimize the organizational environment of the competition, strengthen the combination of skills training and skills competition, improve the overall quality of employees in the industry, optimize the form of competition, improve the system of competitions, and explore new ways of organizing events and improving the system of events.
