Bao Jin clothing is a Taiwanese funded enterprise, mainly for international brand clothing to make garments.
"At the moment, we don't worry about orders at all. We can't finish all the orders on hand."
Gao Ting, head of the company's personnel department, said that the demand for clothing industry is large and wages are improving every year, but manpower is still not enough.

"Every year we are looking for ways to improve the employment environment and increase the wages of our workers, but it is becoming more and more difficult to recruit people.
A person in charge of a down garment processing enterprise in Gaoyou complained that they used to sit at home and wait for workers to come to the door. Now they are recruiting workers all over the country, and they are busy hiring workers for years.
At present, the textiles exported by our city are still in the middle and low grade goods in Europe and the United States, and the low price is still the biggest advantage.
According to a person from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, many large textile and garment enterprises are mostly foundry enterprises. They earn cheap processing fees by making "wedding clothes" for international brands, and the big profits are often grabbed by brands.
However, some clothes with independent knowledge brands are not very strong because of their low brand awareness and low product quality.
"If the OEM export was once a shortcut for the rapid development of China's garment enterprises, then the road is no longer easy to walk, even narrower, with today's sharp fluctuations in raw material prices, rising labor costs and fierce international competition."
