China'S Luxury Consumption Ranks Among The Top Three In The World.

The peak forum said that in 2010, the total consumption of Chinese luxury goods was about 212 billion yuan, while the overall increase in 2011 was between 25% and 30%. However, the growth rate of the fourth quarter slowed down gradually.

Correspondingly, the major brands began to expand the pace of radical stores in China since 2010.
According to the data provided by Bain, brands including BOSS, GUCCI, BURBERRY and PRADA opened about 160 stores in 2010.
But the sales rate of these brands slowed down in 2011.
Bain statistics show that the luxury brands in the first three quarters of last year totaled about 90 new outlets.
Bruno LAN Na analysis said that some brands made plans to reduce investment during the financial crisis from 2008 to 2009, and consciously slowed down the pace of expansion.
