Informed by the Fujian provincial government, the provincial economic and Trade Commission has formulated the guiding opinions on the development of consumer goods industry in Fujian in 2012.

"Opinions" clearly, this year, Fujian province will introduce, build and cultivate a number of "100 billion yuan" consumer goods industry major projects.

At the same time, Fujian will focus on creating competitive industrial clusters at home and abroad, including Quanzhou textile chemical fiber, Quanzhou sporting goods, Quanzhou leisure food, Shishi garments, Putian textile shoes and clothing, Changle textile and chemical fiber, Zhangzhou agricultural products processing.

The projects and projects with new output value of more than 3 billion yuan; projects that focus on municipal examination and approval and new projects with output value of more than 1 billion yuan in the city; projects that focus on county level approval and new production increase value of more than 100 million yuan in the county.

The base and the construction of large-scale professional parks will further promote the aquatic products processing bases in Fujian and eastern Fujian, the tea production and processing bases in Wuyi, Anxi and Ningde, the processing bases for meat and bamboo shoots in North Fujian, the watch and clock industrial bases in Fuzhou and Zhangzhou, the Xiamen and Yunxiao electric light source industrial bases, the Yongan textile industrial base, the Changting characteristic textile and garment industrial bases, and so on.

In introducing and cultivating large enterprise groups and building specialized small giant enterprises, Fujian will also select some leading enterprises from the food industry, textile and garment industry, shoemaking, arts and crafts manufacturing, furniture manufacturing, plastic products, paper making, watch making, ceramic manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries to focus on supporting this year, pushing enterprises to carry out large-scale, specialized and standardized production, and taking the development path of "specialization, specificity, excellence and precision" to form a group of "small giants" specialized in the consumer goods industry with competitive strength throughout the country.
