The "Hongkong fashion shopping Exhibition" was jointly hosted by Hongkong Trade Development Council, Shaanxi provincial chamber of Commerce and Shaanxi Convention and Exhibition Center. It was the first time to visit Xi'an.

Lv Jian, chief representative of the western region of Hongkong's TDC, said that since 2007, the TDC has held Hongkong fashion shopping exhibitions in 8 places in the mainland, including Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Wuhan, attracting more than 3 million people.

This year, we choose to hold a shopping exhibition in Xi'an. Through this event, we hope to promote the cooperation between the retail industry of Xi'an and the manufacturing industry in Hongkong to achieve a three win situation: first, to promote Hong Kong merchants to settle in Xi'an and neighboring cities, to expand the distribution pipeline; secondly, Shaanxi merchants can introduce new business opportunities in port of quality products; and third, enable consumers in Xi'an and the surrounding areas to buy Hongkong fashion products at their door.

According to the briefing, there are 180 Hongkong companies participating in the Hongkong fashion shopping exhibition, bringing more than 350.

The exhibits are covered by species.

Many other products, including accessories, jewelry, clocks, cosmetics, food, gifts and household products, are sold in Xi'an for the first time.
