The coastline is 550 kilometers long.
85% of the territory is plain, and the southeast and northeast are hilly areas.
Most of them belong to the subtropical monsoon climate, which is humid and hot.
The whole year is divided into winter (November to February), summer (March to June) and rainy season (July to October).
The average annual temperature is 26.5 degrees.
Winter is the most pleasant season in a year. The lowest temperature is 4 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature in summer is 45 degrees Celsius, and the average temperature in rainy season is 30 degrees.
Economic situation: Bangladesh is one of the least developed countries with low level of economic development, and the national economy relies mainly on agriculture.
The two governments recently advocated the implementation of the market economy, the privatization policy, the improvement of the investment environment, the vigorous attraction of foreign investment, the active establishment of export processing zones and the preferential development of agriculture.
Since the government of the people's Union has come to power, it has developed a huge economic development plan, but faces challenges such as capital, technology and energy shortage.
In recent years, the economy of Mencius has maintained steady growth and the living standard of the people has been improved.
In the 2010 fiscal year, GDP was US $99 billion 360 million and GDP per capita was US $684.

As Bangladesh's textiles are low-end products, Bangladesh's textile sales are least affected by the economic crisis.
Consumers with lower incomes prefer to restrict their shopping budgets, preferring to buy low-end imported garments from Bangladesh.
India, China and other East Asian countries have increased their cost pressures, leading to a further shift in strategy to Bangladesh.
78% of Bangladesh's export revenue comes from exports of textiles and clothing.
The textile and garment industry creates employment opportunities for 4 million people, accounting for 45% of the national industrial employment rate.
The main export products are polyester filament fabric, rayon blended fabric, synthetic fiber blended fabric, viscose filament fabric and synthetic spinning.
Clothing products include knitted, woven shirts and blouses, trousers, skirts, shorts, jackets, knitwear, sportswear.
These products constitute the main export components.

Moreover, Bangladesh enjoys the treatment of the exemption market under the EU's GSP and EBA.
Bangladesh exports to Canada, Australia, Japan, Norway and other countries to enjoy duty-free market entry treatment.
To speed up its economic development, the Bangladesh government attaches great importance to attracting foreign investment.
The government has promulgated a series of financial and non-financial incentives and policies, including tax holidays, cancellation of all non-tariff barriers, tax free import of capital machinery, and provision of cash assistance to exporters for the purchase of cloth from the country.
