Introduction Of Several Commonly Used Garment Printing Machines
China
Garment printing
Technology from the original family workshop original manual operation to now rely on automation equipment production, gradually moved to a higher realm.
Clothing printing is a familiar and common thing for consumers, especially in summer with a printed pattern T-shirt (Figure 1). Because of its low price and varied patterns, it is loved by consumers.
Hundreds of designs and patterns are undoubtedly attributed to the garment printing machine.

There is an article entitled "where is the road of garment printing enterprises?" the director of the China silk screen printing association, Sichuan Province, wrote: "at present, with the impact of the financial crisis, China's garment manufacturing and printing industry has been greatly affected.
The traditional treadmill printing is gradually stepping down the stage of history due to its backward printing process, slow printing speed, color deviation, large occupied area, high manpower and high comprehensive cost.
Replaced by the high-speed, accurate modern automatic printing equipment successively, it occupies less space, faster printing speed, multicolor overprint, and one to two people can operate a complete set of equipment, which can save a lot of manpower, material and financial resources for enterprises.
Now, what are the printing machines that garment manufacturers are using now? As the printing machines belong to the category of special machines and meet the requirements of small quantities and varieties for special machines, the varieties and specifications of garment printing machines may be from dozens to hundreds, and the angle of classification is also different.
According to the printing method, there are roller printing machines and flat type printing machines.
According to the driving mode of printing, there are several classifications such as pneumatic, hydraulic and computer.
Based on the cold pfer printing machine developed and put into operation in Huangyan clothing machinery factory in Zhejiang Province in 2011, the printing machine can now be directly divided into the heat pfer printing machine and the cold pfer printing machine. The biggest difference is that the former is needed and must be heated when printing, and the latter has no temperature at all.
Cold pfer printing machine, the most popular, is "cold".
This paper briefly introduces the common printing machines and their respective characteristics and differences in garment enterprises or printing enterprises.
One
Heat pfer printing machine
Also known as heat pfer printing.
Heat pfer printing is a new printing process. It has been introduced to China from abroad for more than 10 years.
The printing method is to print the pigment on the paper first, pfer pfer printing paper, and then pfer the color to the fabric through high temperature (heating and pressing on the back of the paper). It is generally used in chemical fiber fabrics, which is characterized by bright colors, fine layers, realistic flowers and strong artistry.
Transfer printing process is simple, small investment, flexible production, is currently popular in the market, heat pfer printing and other types of printing comparison, the price is high, but there is a certain level, chemical fiber fabrics need to adopt thermal pfer printing method.
Advantages: simple printing steps, accurate location, natural pition of different colors.
Disadvantages: color will be more color, and in the printing process will appear blue dot, red dot and other problems.
Compared with traditional screen printing technology, it costs more when printing in large quantities.
2 hot stamping machine (Fig. 2)
Fig. 2 hot stamping machine
The hot stamping machine is one of the heat pfer printing machines. It can heat all kinds of ironing on cotton, linen, chemical fiber and other fabrics, and also process heat treatment such as screen printing, glue, foaming and so on. It is suitable for making cultural shirt and so on. It is economical and practical, and the design is exquisite.
It is replacing traditional embroidery and silk screen printing, and its cost and effectiveness are much lower than that of ordinary embroidery and multicolor screen printing.
There are two kinds of ironing machines related to the clothing industry: the flat plate hot stamping machine, which is mainly used for clothing and clothing materials, and the hat machine with circular arc and used on the hat.
According to the operation power, it can be divided into manual, pneumatic and hydraulic pressure.
There are three main concepts in the hot stamping machine: pressure, temperature and time.
Its working mechanism is heating through the heating plate, with a certain pressure, specific temperature and time, and pferring the layer and thermosetting layer on the pfer paper to the substrate or infiltrating the printed material.
Heat Press Machine
The core component is the heating plate, so when choosing the hot stamping machine, we should pay attention to it.
The upper and lower plates should be aluminum and the heat pipes should be cast in the aluminum plate.
If the upper plate is slotted by aluminum plate and then pasted on the top with heating tube, it will cause unnecessary energy loss, and it will be slow in heating and high temperature difference in constant temperature.
If the lower plate is iron plate or other material, it will be easy to deformation and aging when working under high temperature and high pressure for a long time.
According to the different heating plate area, the upper and lower plates have weight standards. If they are too light and too thin, the heating plate will be easy to deform and affect the use.
In general, the greater the weight, the more reliable the performance is.
After pressing the upper plate of the hot stamping machine, it should be absolutely parallel to the bottom plate.
For example, if the upper and lower plates are tightly attached, a hard paper or other sheets of ductile material can be placed at the four corners, then the handle is pressed down. After the upper and lower plates are stuck and stuck, the hard paper is moved outwards, so as to know whether the upper and lower plates are smooth, and whether the machine is qualified.

Advantages: no need for plate making, one printing, image lifelike, and close to picture effect.
Disadvantages: hard handle, light color and breathability, but dark air.
3 screen printing machine (Fig. 3)
Fig. 3 computer screen printing machine
Screen printing is different from heat pfer printing. Screen printing requires ink, while hot stamping uses pfer paper and ironing paper.
Screen printing is the most popular T-shirt printing technology. 90% of T-shirts are screen printing. Screen printing technology is relatively complex, mainly including design, filming, printing, printing and drying.
Silk screen printing, simply speaking, is the design of a T-shirt. If there are three colors of red, yellow and blue, it needs to be printed in three editions, one color per color, and the majority in China is spot color printing.
Screen printing can be divided into: water paste printing, paste printing, ink printing.
Screen printing has different printing effects by adding some special materials to meet the special needs of customers.
The use of screen printing is to put ink on the screen, scrape it with glue, put printed cloth underneath, and automatically print the whole process of printing and printing with automatic computer screen printing.
Advantages: suitable for mass production.
Disadvantages: hand feel is not as soft as inkjet products; color can not be too much, and needs to be tinted; color gradation and other effects can not be reflected; silk screen products are usually not breathable.
What is "pfer paper"?
Transfer paper can print the pattern that needs to be hot stamping with an inkjet printer, and then print it onto the clothes.
It is mainly divided into light pfer printing paper and dark pfer printing paper.
Light color pfer paper is suitable for light color clothes, such as white and so on. Dark pfer paper is suitable for dark clothes such as black and black.
The ironing paper has been printed on the paper. When printing, it can be pferred directly. There are many printed patterns to choose from.
4 cold pfer printing machine (Fig. 4)
Fig. 4 cold pfer printing machine
The first three printing machines must operate at high temperatures to print, and the last one is relative.
Cold pfer printing is currently one of the most advanced textile printing technologies in the world, which is fixed at room temperature, low energy consumption and low pollution discharge. It is also another "Great Revolution" in textile and clothing printing and dyeing industry.
Through the development of recent years, cold pfer printing technology has made great progress no matter in the depth of color, brightness and color fastness. In a short time, it is widely used in cotton, linen, regenerated fiber and so on. The best effect is highlighted in the fabrics like modal and Tencel.
Thus, the biggest difference between the cold pfer printing process of reactive dyes and conventional printing technology lies in "50% energy saving, colorless slurry sewage, less water consumption, excellent dyeing fastness, colorful and fine pattern".
In addition, the cold pfer printing process is also easy to learn. First, the reactive dye is put into the barrel, and the spray pump adds the reactive dye to the cotton cloth. After the drying temperature is treated, the cold pfer printing paper is placed on the cotton cloth and the cold pfer printing machine is used to perform the cold pressing. Finally, the finished printing workpiece is cooled down and cleaned and dried.
Up to now, the technology of infiltration and spraying has been applied to the active slurry and cotton materials. The spraying equipment of the cold pfer printing equipment of Huangyan garment machinery factory has fine adjustment function, and is the most advanced and ideal equipment for cold pfer printing.
Ironing equipment and printing machines are most criticized for their high power consumption. Cold pfer printing machines can be said to be completely energy-saving products because they are not heated.
Besides natural cotton fabrics such as cotton and linen, cold pfer printing can be used, and other fabrics can also be used.
