Dongguan shoe industry has long gone abroad

In just a few years, Qisheng shoes has completed the "three stage jump" from OEM to brand creation, independent research and development, and then to the establishment of sales channels. Since the outbreak of the financial crisis, its sales outlets have been increasing from 25 to 100.

In Dongguan, only Houjie town owns 500 shoe making enterprises and employs 150 thousand people, with a total investment of 400 million US dollars. In 2010, Houjie produced 600 million pairs of shoes, accounting for 4% of the world shoe industry output, and the annual output value was 20 billion 900 million yuan, accounting for 51.2% of the total industrial output value of the whole town. Footwear exports amounted to 543 million US dollars, accounting for 13% of the total export value of the town, accounting for 1/4 of the total export value of footwear exported to the whole province.

As a fast developing industrial cluster, Houjie shoe industry has relatively complete industrial support. It is said that there is no shoe material that can not be bought in thick street. Indeed, Houjie's leather, shoe materials, shoe machine, talent center, logistics center, footwear exhibition, trade, R & D and other footwear industry's upstream and downstream industries are developing rapidly. There are more than 4500 leather and shoe materials produced and operated in Houjie, and more than 1000 manufacturers of leather, shoes, shoes and hardware, of which nearly 300 are shoe makers. Houjie owns laoxia, Chen house electronic shoe business and Trade Zone, Hetian leather products and other shoe products trade street and ho Po shoe material and more than 10 shoe professional markets. Thick Street traders control over 60% of the world's finished shoe orders, and export footwear products cover more than 100 countries and regions around the world.

Construction of world shoe base

In fact, Dongguan has been very ambitious in promoting the development of shoemaking industry. Dongguan's footwear industry spanformation and upgrading and cluster development policy support program (hereinafter referred to as the "plan") revealed that by 2015, the volume of shoes produced in Dongguan will reach 1 billion 910 million pairs, and the total output value and sales revenue will reach 80 billion 500 million yuan. We will strive to build Dongguan into the world footwear industry with shoe industry development and design center, shoe trade center, shoe brand distribution center and shoe production base in 2015.

The plan puts forward a plan to invest about 1 billion 280 million yuan to develop and build the world shoe industry headquarters base, and focuses on the introduction of shoe research and development institutions, international trade purchasers, shoe manufacturers and branding manufacturers all over the country, international and domestic raw material suppliers and footwear supporting service agencies. The total annual turnover is expected to reach 50 billion yuan.

At present, the area of 180 thousand square meters, the building area of about 400000 square meters, the total investment of 160 million dollars in the world shoe industry (Asia) headquarters base has started. It is estimated that after the completion of the project, 3000 independent industrial and commercial households can be inviting and 20 thousand to 30 thousand people will be employed. Taking the world shoe industry headquarters base as the center, the footwear industry creative park of Dongguan city was established in Houjie ecological science and Technology Park in Dongguan, and 1000 acres of land were planned and reserved to provide preferential land resources for the park shoe enterprises to establish R & D centers, trade centers, high-end production lines and public R & D trading platforms.
