This is the new exploration of Guan Xing leather through the school enterprise joint training of innovative and practical engineering and technical personnel, and it is another "great skill" of the enterprise in scientific and technological innovation.

It is understood that before the establishment of the "excellent engineer" practice base of light chemical engineering specialty, Guan Xing company has been committed to creating academician expert workstation in recent years.

The workstation has two main projects: first, wool hair removal, no ammonia deashing, low salt pickling and acid integration technology development, and two development of high value-added utilization of tannery waste dandruff.

According to the company's experts, after the successful development of these two projects, the COD emissions of tanning production can be reduced more than half, and the recovery rate of sulphides will reach over 99%. This will effectively solve the problem of sulphide and organic matter pollution in leather production and reduce the production cost of enterprises by about 5 million 100 thousand yuan.

The reclaimed water will reach 50%, and it will save more than 300 thousand tons per year. It has good economic and social benefits.

According to the results of the inspection by academician Shi Bi and his team, the company has added 7 million 80 thousand yuan worth of equipment.

Guan Xing leather provides specialist office workshops for academicians with an area of 120 square meters, with annual research and development funds of 900 thousand yuan, annual operating expenses of 1 million 200 thousand yuan, 30 special management personnel, 17 staff members of the academician team, 60 enterprises with R & D personnel.

By the end of last year, the company has basically completed the basic research work of the laboratory, and the single technology has already completed the pilot test. In May this year, a complete clean technology system will be completed.

At present, the above two projects have completed investment of 5 million yuan, built experimental sites and purchased equipment. After pilot tests, the COD content of tannery waste water is reduced by more than 95%, reducing the organic pollution of 55% of the depilatory waste liquid and eliminating the sulfide pollution in the waste liquid. The ammonia nitrogen content of the tannery wastewater can reach 35mg/L less than before the sewage treatment, and the pollution of Cl- ions in the comprehensive wastewater can be reduced or eliminated to the maximum extent, and the tannery wastewater will meet the national discharge standard.
