The National Cocoon And Silk Comprehensive Utilization Experience Exchange Conference Held Ceremoniously

To further improve the comprehensive utilization and development of cocoon silk and promote advanced experience, "the experience of comprehensive utilization of cocoon and silk in the whole country"

The conference was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce (National Cocoon and Silk Industry Association), hosted by the Jilin Provincial Department of Commerce and the Jilin municipal government, and a national business conference jointly sponsored by Jilin Business Bureau and Jilin sericulture Research Institute.

Experts and business leaders from 5 units in 5 provinces have made active speeches on their research achievements and progress at the conference, exchanging contents covering the comprehensive utilization of mulberry, mulberry leaves, mulberry branches and mulberry roots, silkworm moth, pupae, larvae and eggs, and the comprehensive utilization of silkworm excrement, the development of new uses of cocoon silk materials, and the comprehensive utilization of byproducts of cocoon and silk processing.

Through the exchange, delegates gathered a lot and made many pertinent suggestions:

First, break traditional ideas and set up innovative thinking.

Silkworm is not only a good material for silk fabrics, but also a health care product and health product that promotes human health and disease prevention. It is a unique industry in China. Therefore, it should be studied and developed in a deeper and broader field.

Second, break the traditional behavior and establish a sense of cooperation.

The comprehensive utilization of Sericultural Resources is relatively extensive in disciplines and industrial development. Besides cocoon and silk industry, it also involves many industries such as agriculture, biology, food, medicine, chemical industry, paper making, furniture and so on.

It is far from enough to rely solely on the efforts of the industry to make full use of silkworm cocoons.

The government should formulate industrial development policies in the light of market changes and industrial development.

Fourth, increase financial support.

The comprehensive utilization of silk and cocoon is a very young industry. It is also a sunrise industry. It is the real driving force for the revitalization and development of the cocoon and silk industry. The government should also provide substantial financial support on the basis of policy support.

Such as product research and development funds, achievement pformation funds, health care products declaration funds, industrial support funds, etc., through the financial support to make the industry stronger and bigger.
