Low cost products "out" in cost crisis
In Hebei, Gaoyang, a heavy towel producing area in China, many enterprises are running more and more difficult due to the shortage of orders and the rising cost of labor. Han Dan, a project manager of Hebei Sanli Group Co., Ltd., which has visited Bangladesh and other countries, has a deep feeling about this: "at present, the average land price of the factory over there is about 1/5 of the average land price in China, while the wage of Bangladesh textile workers is only 60 dollars / month, which is less than 400 yuan / month. The monthly wages of textile workers in Gaoyang have risen from an average of 700 yuan in 2001 to an average of nearly 3000 yuan today. Now Bangladesh is what we were 10 years ago. Under such conditions, how can our low-grade towel products compete with foreign countries?
According to official data, imports of cotton products from Bangladesh, Vietnam and Indonesia increased by 3.35%, 0.97% and 2.45% respectively from 1~7 this year, while the total imports from China increased. Cotton products The number dropped by 6.61% over the same period.
Order stability and high added value are "King's way".
It is understood that some new fiber, new technology to produce high-grade towel and quilt products enterprises have not been greatly affected.
"Now, the market of bamboo fiber towels is very popular. This product is favored by the gift and group buying market. Yong Liang took the lead in producing bamboo fiber towels in Gaoyang County and strives to become a famous brand of bamboo fiber in China. Li Jianbin, Hebei Yong Liang towel and Textile Co., Ltd., said that the growth mode that relied on low labor cost and high working intensity to gain competitive advantage has been difficult to continue. Enterprises must find new growth points in time and increase the added value of products.
From the perspective of revenue and gross profit, towels and upholstery fabrics are the leading products of China's towel export leader enterprise, which accounts for 90% of revenue and 85% of gross profit. From the sales area, Japan, the United States, the European Union and the country are the main sales areas of the company.
This year is the "Olympic year". The Olympic Games were held in London, which stimulated the growth of the textile market in Europe and America to a certain extent. The head of the company believes that the Olympic Games will not only increase the order of the company, but also enhance the market value of the company's brand and the sustained growth of the foreign trade in the future.
As a well-known domestic textile manufacturer, Yaguang Group specializes in producing "China famous brand" products, Yaguang brand towel, bath towel, bathrobe, towel blanket, blanket and bedding. It has set up companies in the United States, Australia and other countries, and has registered LOFTEX, HOMETEX, ADORE, HOME TRENDS and other brands. The products are mainly exported to the United States, Europe, Australia, Russia and Japan and other countries and regions.
Speaking of this year's export to the US market, Wang Hongxing, general manager of Yaguang group, said that in the first half of this year, the export of Yaguang towel and quilt products to the United States increased by about 20% compared with the same period last year.
In Wang Hongxing's view, big enterprises have high technology level and strong innovation ability. Added value of products High, the products are mainly medium and high grade, and have strong competitiveness in the market. As a result, large enterprises have large orders of long term cooperation. Due to the weak competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, some orders are outflowing.
Market structure still needs to be adjusted.
Us customs data show that towel importing countries in the United States are mainly China, India, Pakistan, Brazil and Turkey. In 2011, the 5 countries accounted for 79.7% of the total import market share of the United States, of which China accounted for 18.2%. In view of this, China's towel has great room for growth in the US export market.
From a different perspective, the US and EU 25 countries are 3.1 and 3.6 times the GDP of Japan respectively, while our towel exports to the US and Europe are only 47% and 44% of the Japanese towel exports in the same period. Even if we exclude geo cultural factors, China's towel exports to the US and Europe still have 1.5~2 times growth potential from the international competitiveness of comparable competitive countries. In response, experts pointed out that production enterprises should pay attention to product structure adjustment, develop high value-added products, and meet the market demand of middle and high grade products in the United States.
