New York Fashion Week
On the opening day, five African fashion designers presented their fashion masterpieces at the Arise African Icons conference, vowing to change the fashion history of Africa.
If your impression of African fashion still stays in Accra's printed skirt, you are totally mistaken.
The famous designer Ozwald Boateng, together with a new designer such as Maki Oh and many other designers, CO produced this gorgeous fashion show.
African designers once again proved that they are not only available in African patterns, but when they want to use this element, they can always surprise people.
At this special press conference,
clothing
It's not the only focus.
The model on T also brought about a revolution.
Black models and Asian models have been unveiled, showing the charm of dark from dark to brown, which is not common in previous shows.

Designer
It is the first black designer who owns his shop in Savile Row, London, where Saville's top tailor is a gathering place for high tailored suits.
In his 25 years of design career, he has become a favorite designer of Hollywood movie stars and fashion men.
Yesterday, Boateng lit the T stage again with his works.
His 2013 spring men's wear series, built from a series of spring colors, from flaming red to gorgeous gold, once again proves that men's suits are not only limited to serious occasions, but also full of fun.
The double breasted jacket, with a perfect close cut, declares that the designer's talent will not stick to his iconic suit.

2.MakiOh
This is the maiden work of the 26 year old Nigeria designer in New York fashion week.
Although a new designer, Maki Oh has attracted the attention of New York fashion media and won an annual Designer Award.
Celebrities who pursue her works include Beyonce sister Solange Knowles.
There is no doubt that Maki Oh is definitely one of the most noteworthy designers in 2013.
With her high waist line and knee tight waist skirt, she perfectly interprets the charming curves and sexy glamour of women, like a magic spell that enchants the whole.

The style of her work, as she describes herself, is "a woman who is strong, knows herself, and knows where she came from."

3. TiffanyAmber
As the third New York fashion week, Tiffany Amber said that this mission is to change the wrong concept of fashion: "African patterns are no longer mystifying. They have gone from the advanced custom fashion to the streets."
Therefore, she hoped that African pattern could once again find its noble side.
Together with the 2013 spring series called "African rhythm", the designer from Lagos seems to have completed his mission.
Bold colors and designs (made by African musicians) are striking, including simple and long skirts to trousers. This is the alternative and fashionable choice of dressing for working women.
4. GavinRajah
Gavin Rajah, born in South Africa, makes T stage again full of fantasy elements. Its works are diverse and gorgeous.
The metal tongue cap worn by the models is as beautiful as the Yellow crown, and the color of the skirt from bright pink to bright gold is glamorous, which is no less inferior to the ice and snow demons in snow white.
There are also more wearable works in the series, such as a long sleeved lace white dress, decorated with gold details and a light retro flavor.
5. TsemayeBinitie
TsemayeBinitie came from Nigeria, and after working for Burberry and Stella McCartney, he created a personal dress brand.
His works include perfectly structured silk dresses, light spring tonal, deep red and highly wearable leather trousers, and Mousika, his inspiration, is his sister.
