Sichuan Takes Advantage Of Guangdong'S Footwear Industry Shift

Yesterday, in the afternoon of, Guangdong province held a large-scale, high standard undertaking Guangdong shoes industry pfer and exchange conference, attracting nearly 200 shoe companies in Guangdong to participate in the footwear industry in Guangdong.

Huang Xiaoxiang told the truth: according to the coastal shoemaking enterprises that have already settled in Sichuan, Sichuan is 20% lower than the coastal areas in terms of labor costs. For the shoe manufacturers that produce low-end products, the raw materials and accessories can basically be solved locally; however, for the shoe manufacturers that produce high-end products, the production cost will increase because of the large raw materials and the matching radius.

However, Huang Xiaoxiang believes that compared with the current recruitment situation of many Guangdong shoe enterprises, Sichuan has obvious advantages in this regard.

At present, there are more than 20 million migrant workers in Sichuan, quite a few of whom are engaged in the footwear industry, and 60% of Guangdong's shoe making enterprises are in Sichuan and 30% of them are Sichuan people.

Huang Xiaoxiang also introduced the idea of building a shoemaking industrial chain in Sichuan: Taking the park and base as a way to undertake the cluster shift of the coastal footwear industry, and make Sichuan a "base and three centers" for the footwear industry, that is, production base, R & D center, logistics center and exchange center.

However, there are still concerns about the increase in logistics costs caused by industrial pfer.

A Taiwanese funded enterprise with 16 thousand workers in Guangdong has proposed that: once we have visited the mainland, we have also made calculations. It is found that for high end shoemaking enterprises and "two out of doors" enterprises, the cost of labor saved by 20% will be offset or even exceeded because of the high logistics cost in the mainland.

On behalf of the policy support pfer conference, Gao Li, the deputy director of the Ministry of Commerce, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, put forward the idea that, since the state actively promotes industrial pfer, should the state introduce the export tax rebate policy to undertake industrial pfer areas?

In response, Gao Li responded: in 2007, in order to support the industrial pfer in the central and western regions, the Ministry of Commerce and the State Development Bank jointly issued the "opinions on supporting the pfer of processing trade in the central and western regions", and put forward financial and financial support.

This year, there will be encouraging policies in this regard.

Reporters learned that, in order to support the undertaking of industrial pfer from a strategic height, the Sichuan provincial Party committee and the provincial government recently issued the "opinions on accelerating the undertaking of industrial pfer", which included four preferential policies and eight measures with high gold content, which involved fiscal support policy, tax support policy, financial promotion policy and factor support policy.

From this meeting, Sichuan's positive embrace posture has attracted some Guangdong shoe enterprises. At the meeting, nearly 20 Guangdong shoe enterprises signed investment contracts with Sichuan, with an agreement amounting to 5 billion 870 million yuan.
