Nanchang Shoe Industry Is Expanding

After reading the recent Nanchang newspapers, advertisements for the recruitment of shoes factories are often seen.

Six months ago, this kind of advertisement was rare. Why do we get more?

Reporters interviewed two more representative shoe factories in Nanchang, and confirmed that this is the change brought about by industrial pfer. The trend of Guangdong and Fujian shoemaking industry to Jiangxi is beginning to appear in the Nanchang shoe industry.

The shoe making industry in Nanchang is expanding smoothly. Nanchang Blue Shoes Co., Ltd. advertised for skilled sewing workers and management personnel. Mr. Chen, assistant general manager of the company, said their company has some cooperative factories in Guangdong, and now pfers production resources to Nanchang.

The reason is very simple. In Dongguan, the rent is about 12 yuan to 15 yuan per square meter per month. The rent of the factory buildings in Nanchang city and surrounding industrial parks is only 7 yuan to 8 yuan per square meter per month, and their production, office and living space is about 5000 square meters, and the annual rent can be saved by 400 thousand yuan.

For more than 1 years, the technical workers and management staff of 1/3 in the blue shoes industry have come back from Guangdong and Fujian.

The wages of workers are 500-600 yuan in the off-season and 900 yuan to 2 300 yuan in the peak season. Although there is not much scissors difference between workers' wages in the two seasons, the cost of living in Guangdong and other coastal areas, including children's education fees for housing prices, is too high. The skilled workers born in the 60-70 generation can only live without living, so they only choose to return.

Nanchang bright shoe making Co., Ltd. has become more and more busy recently. Many orders from the United States, Canada, Southeast Asia and Western Europe have been pferred to Nanchang to find cheaper manufacturers because of the obvious increase in production costs in Guangdong.

The trend of industrial pfer has encouraged them to expand their production scale.

Logistics and matching costs are still higher than coastal "the same products, some produced in Guangdong, in Nanchang can not produce."

Mr. Chen's speech in the shoe industry reveals a trace of regret.

This is the result of the lack of matching support from upstream and downstream industries.

An employee of the bright shoe industry said that in Dongguan, shoe factories purchased cloth, plush and plastic materials, and the suppliers could deliver them to the factory in half an hour. In Nanchang, the raw material purchased by the enterprises in Zhejiang now takes more than 10 hours, and the industry chain of Jiangxi's shoe making industry is far from being formed.

"The cost of material and material for one pair of shoes is one yuan higher than that of Guangdong."

Chen said that if the production of 1 million pairs of shoes, the additional cost is 1 million yuan, digestion of this huge cost, for traditional industries is not an easy thing.

In addition, the products of the blue shoes industry go to Shenzhen for customs clearance. A container (6000 pairs of shoes) from Nanchang to Shenzhen costs about 5000 yuan for shipping and customs clearance, and only 2000 yuan from Dongguan to Shenzhen.

They have also tried to do electronic clearance in Nanchang customs. However, customs offices in Shenzhen and Shanghai do not agree that there should be much coordination between the government in simplifying customs declaration procedures.

Industrial clusters still need time to test. Now Nanchang's shoemaking enterprises are mainly distributed in Xiang Tang, Hero Economic Development Zone, Hu Fang Industrial Park and Xiaolan Industrial Park.

During the interview, the reporters felt that the shoemaking enterprises in Guangdong and Fujian had not yet surged to Nanchang because of the reasons for the pfer. Nanchang now only experiences the impact of this trend.

The footwear industry in Nanchang needs to be accumulated and tested through time.

Mr. Chen said that the traditional industries do not outshine others. If the cluster effect can not be formed, the footwear industry in Nanchang will not be able to sustain development.

Therefore, he suggested that the relevant government departments should scientifically guide and undertake industrial pfer in a planned way, and do some solid work in supporting industrial parks, low rent housing and logistics services, so as to create an environment conducive to the survival and development of enterprises.
