In less than a year, Daqing has built a modern leather industry cluster in Northeast China. It has the annual production capacity of 1 million cowhide, 3 million sheepskin, 3 million pig skin, 30 million fine leather and 3 million fish skin.

Reporters at the Zhaoyuan Leather Industrial Park, the most advanced leather industry in Daqing, learned that since its operation in September 2006, the park has entered nearly 20 enterprises, and its output value is nearly 500 million yuan. The park enterprises have leather investors in Zhejiang, Hebei, Henan and other provinces, and have old leather factories in Shenyang, Qigihar and other places in the northeast of China.

The production and processing projects of the company are diversified, covering all kinds of leather, such as cow hide, pig skin, sheep skin, fox raccoon skin, fish skin, and all kinds of leather deep processing.

A month ago, in the Daqing exhibition area of hakhun fair, the exhibitors brought by an enterprise were sold out, and 8 enterprises on that spot agreed with them.

Aiming at the market and developing new products, the company set up the China fishery culture and media company, and launched a series of Chinese fishery culture products, such as tourism products and ornaments, which were approved by the provincial people's Committee as the designated processing enterprises for national cultural products.

From the beginning of 2007 to the present, the park achieves an output value of more than 200 million yuan, a profit and tax of 27 million yuan, a 950 labor force to absorb labor, and an increase of 60 million yuan in income for the peasants.

At present, the enterprises in the park have initially gone to the stage of mass production. Foreign businessmen such as Italy, Korea and Turkey first went to the park inspection project to negotiate trade cooperation, and reached a cooperation agreement with Italy on sole leather.

In order to enhance the development potential of Daqing leather industry, the leather park is based on the fur market construction, and is gradually expanding the scale of production and extending the industrial chain on the basis of strengthening the wet blue processing and leather making industry, so as to finally achieve the pition from tannery to leather processing park.

At the same time, we should increase services in finance, market, technology and supporting facilities to reduce the cost of enterprises and enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises.

Zhaoyuan leather Park in 2007 identified 20 key construction projects, with a total investment of 76 million 580 thousand yuan, and built three major markets for fur trading, labor and chemicals.
