With the double pressure of rising domestic production costs, the export growth rate of China's textile industry has dropped compared with the same period last year, and some traditional textile and garment export areas in China have also felt a lot of pressure. Local governments and associations actively take measures to get rid of the current predicament.

This year, countries around the world have introduced restrictions on specific azo dyes. Recently, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and other countries have announced that they will adopt specific restrictions on azo dyes, and various safety standards and restrictive measures have been introduced to make our textile export prospects snowy.

Nantong city of Jiangsu province has always been a big textile export city, and the textile industry occupies a pivotal position in Nantong.

To help Nantong textile enterprises to understand the dynamics of international and domestic textile safety standards and the construction of white list management system, Nantong Business Bureau, Nantong Trade Promotion Association and Nantong Textile Industry Association recently held a white list management system report at Nantong International Center.

The enterprises that came to the meeting include Jiangsu Dasheng group, Nantong Dadong Textile Co., Ltd., Nantong Mountain Eagle printing and dyeing Co., Ltd. and other more than 50 key textile enterprises in Nantong.

Zuo Chengqin, President of Nantong Textile Industry Association, pointed out in his speech that

It is a large textile market, but the textile enterprises in Nantong do not necessarily understand the development and changes of the international and domestic textile safety standards. It is not always clear about the white list management system implemented by the Federation of Chinese textile industry throughout the country. Therefore, the aim of this conference is to enable Nantong's enterprises to have an in-depth understanding and profound understanding of the importance of textile safety construction, and to form a social demonstration effect from the source to the quality safety and traceability of textiles, so as to promote the quality management level of the whole industry.

Zhang Xicheng, deputy general manager of China Textile Network Information Technology Co., Ltd. introduced that the white list management system is the textile industry product safety management system established by the China Textile Industry Federation to ensure the quality and safety of textile products, and is responsible for the health of consumers. The construction and promotion of the network platform of the system is undertaken by China Textile Network Information Technology Co., Ltd.

The Federation of China textile industry is building the system from three aspects: first, to ensure the safety of products in the domestic market. The white list management system is built on the basis of GB18401-2010, which will accommodate the latest requirements of our national standard for textile safety. In the process of expert group evaluation, we should pay close attention to the effectiveness of the product quality control system in order to ensure the health of domestic consumers.

The second is to raise the level of chemical management of enterprises and integrate the evaluation system of advanced management experience at home and abroad. In the process of implementation, enterprises are encouraged to improve their own chemicals management system, improve their management level, and ensure the quality of textiles from the root cause.

The third is to ensure the smooth flow of trade between China and Europe. The system will be applied to the trade between China and Europe in the future.
