Zhou Haijiang: in fact, the red bean began to walk a diversified road, in fact, the diversification of this road, should be told is a trap, because there are too many, under the international background, the competition is not sure, so the red bean these years, it is the seven or eight lines, still far more than a few.
In recent years we have been relatively compressed. We have compressed like vehicles and batteries, and after closing these lines, we concentrate all the resources on several industries, such as textile and clothing, rubber tyres, biomedicine and real estate. These four plates are relatively concentrated, and are faster and better.
We are sober to see that although there are four plates, we still have too much to do and how to do it. If we want to compress it, we will be in trouble. So what kind of path has red bean adopted? That is, the four industries will remain unchanged.

Because I think our private enterprises in China will surpass the top 500 in the world and compete with them intentionally or unintentionally. We should concentrate all our resources and strength and make breakthroughs on one point.
So in the tire industry, I concentrated all the resources on one point, that is, the truck tire that only carries long haul truck load. In this small industry, the reputation is good. Many of our thousands of long-distance pport drivers named him our brand.
Phoenix: what about real estate?
Zhou Haijiang: in real estate, we are now concentrating on relative cities. Not every city is developed. Currently, it is mainly in Wuxi and Zhenjiang. Because there is a concentration of real estate and too much coverage. At present, our development is also good.
Now some people say that your real estate profits and sales do not seem to have risen, but in fact, he only saw part of the sales front, the profit part, but actually we have already sold it, but there is still a large block that has not yet been delivered. This is not in the aggregate of sales and profits, and it has not had time to react.
Another piece is our business, like Wuxi red bean International Plaza, which has 45000 square meters of commercial underneath. Now I only reflect more than 10 thousand yuan and 1 square meters on the account.

Specialized companies are better, but at the top are relatively diversified businesses.

Zhou Haijiang: China has always been a big country in the clothing industry. One of the two service centers in the world is made by China. But if we want to become a strong garment country, we have to go through a large number of independent brands. These large numbers of independent brands are not only competing in the domestic market, because foreign brands also come in, and even we want to compete abroad.
I think the key is first to increase the two content, one is the technical content of the brand, the other is the cultural content of the brand.
The technical content of the brand includes good operators, good equipment, because advanced equipment is the solidification of advanced technology, I have always said so.
There are good designers, all of which are part of the technical content.
The products you wear now, whether fashionable or not, most importantly, are of high quality, which is part of the technical content.
We tend to ignore the other big business in China's enterprises, which is cultural content. What is the content of culture? Let me take an example. For example, at the international hotel, we eat a green vegetable. It may cost 30 yuan, and it can be bought in a small restaurant next to it. It may only cost 3 yuan, what is the 3 yuan to eat, what is the material and what is 30 yuan? It is culture, because it has murals, it has music, it has fountain, it has environmental location, actually it is the enjoyment of cultural emotion.
I also use this to explain that many of our costumes are also produced by our Chinese garment factories. Why does it sound that Chinese brands sell 1 thousand, 2 thousand, sell 10 thousand and 20 thousand, all people are buying, say 10 thousand or 20 thousand, these people are worshipping foreigners or fools, I do not think so.
I think that although he is a factory, when I sell the French brand, although it is a small trademark, when I sell the brand, I will associate with the French fashion show, the French customs, France's history and culture aspects. In this way, although I am consuming such a brand, but the consumption is cultural things, and the cultural content will be bigger and bigger in the middle of the brand.
Why is the gap between 1 thousand, 2 thousand, 10 thousand and 20 thousand, mainly in the cultural gap?
Phoenix: how do we build our own culture?
Zhou Haijiang: how does the red bean make the cultural content of red bean? In addition to technological content and cultural content, if China's clothing brands are starting to focus on cultural creation, then the international brands will be close. After that, they will still be involved in operational methods, including rapid response. This is also a need for further efforts by our Chinese garment enterprises, including our red beans.
Now red beans are making progress in these areas, including logistics distribution and so on. So I think the core is two levels, technical content and cultural content, followed by our rapid response.
Zhou Haijiang: red beans should be linked to the Internet.
Phoenix: before I came here, I made a small survey. If our young people buy clothes, what kind of ways will they go through? What kind of enterprises are they doing? A new brand is developing rapidly. How do you see the new channels and the development of enterprises in this field?
Zhou Haijiang: there are several modes of electronic commerce. One is that customers are selling their own brands, and they are selling directly, such as Taobao mall, which has built an online shopping mall for everyone to buy and sell.
Red beans are walking on another road. They are all very good in these two modes. They even cooperate with Taobao mall, which are all very good.
What is the way of red beans? We certainly have sales on the Internet, but under the net, we hope to realize the linkage between the Internet and the offline. Phoenix: how does the brand of red bean attract the fashion sense to attract more potential consumers?
Zhou Haijiang: because you know red beans at the very beginning, it is an old clothing brand. Some consumers say it is worn by my father. Even before running to the office, he wore red beans. Before I went through it, now I don't wear it, but there are several situations. The second one is to say that I am a clothing brand in China and do not absorb anything else from abroad. That will not work. So what is the way to adopt red bean? I will introduce foreign designers.
As the design director of our red bean men's clothing, he is the Korean Lian Lian Shan. As my design director, my commodity planning is Beishan Shu Zi, Japan, and also an expert in Japan.
I want both the domestic team and the overseas designers to combine the two. I hope to be able to unite with the international trend makers and not fall behind.
There is also a special demand, because there is another difference in young people's redevelopment. He would like me to buy things, do not want anyone to wear the same things as me. What do we do? We launched a sub brand. Zhou Haijiang: I was introduced into the factory by my father, but I am not rich in the two generation.

When you went from a university professor to a factory worker in the red bean plant and worked as an ordinary worker for 17 years, why did you make such a decision at that time?
Zhou Haijiang: this has something to do with my school at Shenzhen University. In addition, it has something to do with my father and my family, because the red bean enterprise has been in 1957. It is the three cotton handicraft workers who put their cotton bombs together. Even if the cooperation is established, one of the three is my grandfather. He died in 1964, because he was heavily polluted by cotton and had a big bow. So after he died in 1964, the factory did not develop much in 1982, and 20 people lost money. Later, the factory was shut down.
Later, 20 people were not able to arrange well, so they found a factory director. No one would like to come. Later, my father would like to, why didn't father want to? Because he lived in this factory when he was young, so he went, and then he turned into a profit and began to develop.
In 1986, it was developed to 5 million. In 1987, the goal was to aim at 10 million. In the 1987 year, my father talked with me and hoped that I would go back because he hoped to make the factory a goal of 100 million yuan. At the time, he did not believe that he must introduce talents, but he could not bring in other talents. No one wanted to go to town. Zhou Haijiang: No, only 5 million in 1986 and 10 million in 1987. I returned at the end of 1987.

Zhou Haijiang: my father knew at that time that no university student could not make up 1 hundred million, so he tried to introduce talents.
Phoenix: when you first entered the factory, did anyone see you are rich in the two generation?
Zhou Haijiang: at that time, there was no concept of the rich two generation. The township enterprises were very bitter at that time. The assets belonged to the town, and they were not personal. In addition, I will communicate with them many times. When some old workers see me leave the workshop, he says you are in the workshop. They are in tears. They do not want me to leave the workshop, because I am a better person.

Many private enterprises are wrong. He said that I had already formed a new system. You see, I have shareholders' meeting, board of directors, board of supervisors and managers.
