The three meeting of the textile and apparel industry association and the provincial textile and garment industry working conference were held in Luannan, Tangshan City.

According to the needs of industry development and association work, the meeting elected Wang Chao, chairman of Hebei Hongrun new fabric Co., Ltd. and NPC deputy, President of Hebei textile and garment industry association, and added some directors, executive directors and vice presidents.

As a new textile industry cluster, there are 71 spinning enterprises in Luannan County of Tangshan City, with a production scale of about 700000 spindles.

At the same time, many textile industrial clusters are paying more attention to pformation and upgrading, constantly improving the level of science and technology, expanding and extending the industrial chain, highlighting the characteristics and enhancing the cluster effect.

In 2012 1~6 months, Hebei textile industry above designated size enterprises realized main business revenue of 78 billion 344 million yuan, an increase of 19.53% over the same period last year, realized a profit of 4 billion 37 million yuan, an increase of 20.54%; realized profits and taxes 5 billion 645 million yuan, an increase of 19.84%; and earned foreign exchange earning 2 billion 175 million US dollars, down 4.37%.
