Previously, only 8 foreign companies were able to produce octane ethylene copolymers in the world, and there were no manufacturers in China.

The octane comonomer product produced by Fushun petrochemical ethylene plant can be used as raw material for PE - RT pipe and high-grade packaging film.

PE - RT as a geothermal heating pipe, has good flexibility, high thermal conductivity and pressure resistance. It is an energy saving and environment-friendly plastic pipe. The packaging film produced by octene comonomer has good tear strength, sealing ability, optical performance, processing performance and less extraction. It can be made into high quality film such as food packaging and special packaging. It is a high value-added product with large market demand.

As one of the first 5 "small ethylene" enterprises in China, Fushun petrochemical ethylene chemical plant has done enough articles in developing high value-added products. This octane copolymerization pformation is the new project set up by the factory in combination with market demand.

It is predicted that after the implementation of the project, an annual increase of 30 million yuan will be achieved for enterprises.

According to the introduction, from preliminary preparation,

Research, technical parameters determination, to apply for approval, project research and development and final trial production, ethylene ethylene plant of Fushun Petrochemical octane ethylene copolymer research and development work lasted 3 years.

During the implementation of the project, researchers from the Fushun Petrochemical Research Institute collected more than 50 kinds of raw materials, and there were more than 10 analytical data of each raw material. With the accurate control of the raw materials' performance and the analysis of query data, they adjusted the research plan in time, and finally determined the nature and formulation of the raw materials.

On this basis, after more than 1 years of laboratory research,

Together with the scientific research personnel of the Institute of petrochemical research, ethylene plant and synthetic resin room of PetroChina refining and Chemical Research Institute, the research project of octane ethylene copolymerization product was pferred from laboratory to industrial experiment.

In October 26th, the project group began the first batch of industrial trials.

In the process of industrialization, the project team members stared at the production site for 24 hours, tracking the production status, adjusting the processing parameters and the ratio of raw materials and additives at any time, and finally producing the first batch of qualified products. Fushun Petrochemical has taken a solid step in the development of the ethylene specialty.
