Yesterday, the reporter was informed that the Provincial Education Department issued the notice on further standardizing the uniform dress management work of primary and middle school students in our province. It is clear that the scope of uniform clothing for primary and secondary school students in our province belongs to the primary and secondary schools belonging to the urban area. In principle, schools are autonomous, parents voluntarily, unified bidding and standardized management.

According to the notice, all localities should strictly regulate the procurement of uniform dress by the students. In accordance with the relevant requirements of the market-oriented allocation of public resources, the quality of products should be improved and the burden on parents of students should be reduced by reasonable and orderly competition. In principle, all localities should be based on the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality, and should be unified bidding and purchasing for uniform uniforms of primary and middle school students.

According to the briefing, the Fujian provincial standard for student clothing (DB35/T836-2008) was officially released by the Fujian provincial quality and Technical Supervision Bureau in September 2008 and has been implemented since October 2008.

The notice requires all clothing management departments to formulate uniform dress code for students in line with local realities, select students' uniform dress styles, scientifically and reasonably determine the varieties and quantities of uniforms for students, and minimize the uniform dress costs of impoverished students.

The provincial education department is clear that after the above notice is issued, the notice of the provincial education department on the issuance of some interim provisions for strengthening the uniform dress work of primary and middle school students in Fujian province shall be abolished.

The measures for the recognition of the qualification of provincial garment manufacturing enterprises shall be abolished simultaneously.
