The 2013 Edition Of The Certification Standard For International Environmental Textiles Is Officially Released.
< p > < strong > 2013, the specific testing standards and limit values of the international environmental textiles certification are as follows: < /strong > < /p >
< p > 8 new polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) components in candidate textiles will be inspected in the future. In addition, the limit value of the existing benzo (a) pyrene is adjusted to 0.5 mg/kg at product level I, and the cumulative limit of all other PAH is adjusted to 5 mg/kg. < /p >
< p > two methyl formamide (DMF), a highly concerned substance (substance SVHC), is listed under the regulatory solvent list according to REACH regulations. The limit value is 0.1%. < /p >
< p > besides, three kinds of harmful phthalate two formates added to the test samples will be inspected, because some of these substances are also classified as SVHC substances or are included in the "intention register" list of REACH. The cumulative limit of product level I and II to IV is still 0.1%. < /p >
< p > based on the explicit regulation of the limit value in Appendix XVII of REACH regulations, the two methyl fumarate (DMFu) as an added substance will be included in the list of OEKO-TEX supervised residual chemical substances, and the relevant components shall be checked with a limit value of 0.1 mg/kg. < /p >
< p > according to the modification of the nickel emission according to the European standard, the limit of nickel extraction can be extracted and adjusted for all four OEKO-TEX product grades. The new limit of product level I will be 0.5 mg/kg, and the product level II to IV is 1 mg/kg. < /p >
< p > since the beginning of 2012, the international environmental textile association has already regulated the content of nonylphenol, octyl phenol and alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (APEO) in the product certification according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and this will be mandatory from April 1, 2013. < /p >
< p > < strong > at present, the following limit values are applied: < /strong > < /p >
< p > - octyl phenol (OP) and nonylphenol (NP) accumulated 50 mg/kg (equivalent to 0.005% of textile weight) < /p >
< p > - octyl phenol, nonylphenol, octylphenol - (1-2) - hydroxyethyl and nonylphenol - (1-9) - hydroxyethyl substances accumulated at 500 mg/kg (equivalent to 0.05% of textile weight) < /p >
< p > the "zero discharge of hazardous chemicals (ZDHC)" initiative with these limit values of OEKO-TEX provides strong support. Through the way of enterprise audit, we can further improve the sensitivity of enterprises in the OEKO-TEX system to the harmful environmental substances contained in the auxiliary materials. < /p >
