    These projects are of large scale and high investment, which are of great significance in ensuring the supply of raw materials, stabilizing production and enhancing competitiveness. At the same time, some enterprises are also building supporting projects such as power plants and ports to meet the actual production and operation needs. Some enterprises or invest in real estate and biological medicine and other industries to enrich the source of funds to support the development of the main chemical fiber industry.

    Therefore, as an important part of the textile industry chain, the chemical fiber industry should also focus its attention on the central and western regions.

    For a long time, chemical fiber productivity is mainly concentrated in the eastern region. There are four main factors: the Eastern market is well distributed and the chemical fiber industry is developing rapidly; the main raw materials for chemical fiber production are near the eastern part, and the raw materials and export products also depend on the eastern ports. And the chemical fiber raw materials demand higher pportation, which is not conducive to long-distance land pportation from the east to the central and western parts. The chemical fiber belongs to the capital and technology intensive industries, and the eastern region is well-developed, with sufficient funds and talents. The slow pace of reform in the central and Western state-owned enterprises has resulted in a shrinking industry and a decline in competitiveness.

    In the western region, these four aspects have been improved in recent years.

    As far as Chongqing is concerned, the textile and garment industry chain is gradually forming in recent years. The gap between the talents and the East is also shrinking.
