    In Quanzhou, it has undergone many years of accumulative development. Textile and clothing Industry is the first pillar industry of industrial economy, and is located at the top of the five traditional industries in Quanzhou. After more than 30 years of development, it has built a more complete textile upper, middle and downstream industrial chain covering cotton spinning, chemical fiber, weaving, dyeing and finishing, garment making, accessories, and so on, forming a textile and garment industrial cluster with an annual output value of nearly 200 billion yuan.


    Chen Cangsong, vice president of Quanzhou textile and Garment Association, told reporters that the production of Fujian cotton spinning plate centered on Quanzhou ranks the fifth in the country. However, due to the low raw materials and low self-sufficiency rate, the textile and clothing industry in Quanzhou lacked the control and control over the upstream raw materials. Especially in the past few years, when the whole spinning and weaving industry entered the meager profit era, it was particularly important to control the raw material of the upstream cotton.


    Take Shishi as an example, the amount of cotton yarn used in weaving industry in this city is as high as 15 thousand tons. At present, there are three sources of cotton yarn required by Shishi: first, the cotton yarn is sold to Shishi enterprises from the enterprises outside the province; the two is that local enterprises buy cotton yarn from other places, except for one part of the enterprise, and the other part is sold to other enterprises; the three is that the local enterprises contracted cotton spinning enterprises in the field, and transported a large number of cotton yarn back to the stone lions.


    Textile enterprises in Quanzhou realized that relying solely on buying cotton from abroad had not been able to meet the needs of business development. About 40% of garment enterprises "thousands of miles" rush to find cotton, increasing the procurement costs of enterprises. Quanzhou is determined to change this situation, and the cotton specialized trading market of Jinjiang land port arises at the historic moment.


    In March last year, Jinjiang's land port cotton specialized trading market was put into use.


    In a short span of two years, it has risen to become the largest cotton storage center in our province.


    The relevant person in charge of the market told reporters that in 2012, a total of 190 batches of cotton imported from Uzbekistan, weighing 9431 tons and weighing 21 million 710 thousand U. S. dollars, had not only opened the Eurasian land passageway, but also imported a new record of Quanzhou port and exceeded 50% of cotton imports in Fujian in 2012, and the volume of imports of cotton will double this year.


    In March 15th, the first import and export cotton laboratory in our province was built and put into operation in the Key Laboratory of National Textiles inspection, which is subordinate to the Quanzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau.


    The establishment of the specialized market of Jinjiang's land port has opened up the upstream link of the textile and garment industry, and the entire industrial chain of Quanzhou's textile and apparel has also been shaped.

    Expand the middle and lower reaches, brand and technology fly together


    At the end of last year, the list of top 100 enterprises in the clothing industry released by the China clothing association included 14 enterprises in Quanzhou. In the past two years, men's clothing brands such as seven wolves, nine herdmen, Lelang and Qipai have already formed a famous Fujian style menswear brand in the domestic market, while Jinyuan and Wei Xi are building the women's wear section of Min faction. The enterprises such as tick, Mamie Marka, and wild leopard have also taken a place in the domestic children's wear market.


    In recent years, the brand consciousness of Fujian men's clothing has been revived, and market segmentation has begun to take place. For example, the seven wolves lead life style, claiming that "men are not only one side".


    If brand is soft power, the technology to decide quality is hard power.


    In Shishi Federation Sanhe company, Wang Ronghua, director of the company, told reporters that because of the introduction of the German frontier textile technology, the new high-density casual fabrics produced by the company were very popular, and the supply of products was in short supply.


    Federal Sanhe used to be an enterprise that produces medium and low-grade garment fabrics. As a result of constantly updating technology, the company pioneered breakthroughs in new fabrics, filling many gaps in the domestic textile industry in the field of high density and leisure fabrics, and stepping into the development track of transformation and upgrading in one fell swoop. "New clothing material market has large demand, low risk and high profit." Wang Ronghua said.
