    The color stereoscopic model of < p > a href= "http://www.91se91.com" > Munsell < /a "is like a double cone, and its central axis represents no color, that is, the lightness grade of neutral color.

    The black pition from the bottom to the top is divided into 11 gray scales, which are called the Munsell lightness.

    The horizontal distance between a specific color and the central axis represents saturation.

    It is called Munsell chroma, which indicates that the color with the same lightness is neutral.

    The chroma of neutral color on the central axis is 0, the farther away from the central axis, the greater the chroma value.

    The angle projected from the central horizontal axis represents the tone.

    They developed the "Meng Searl new standard system" by spectroscopic photometry and visual experiments on the color samples in Munsell catalogue. The revised color samples are more closely spaced in visual sense, and the chromatic coordinates of the corresponding CIE1931 colorimetric system can be given for each color sample.

    At present, the "Munsell color atlas" published in the United States and Japan is the atlas of the new standard system.

    In 1974, the new version of the United States included 1450 color samples and 37 neutral colored samples.
