Since the beginning of this year, Shishi textile and garment enterprises have increased production scale and equipment renewal. 4 textile enterprises have built or expanded new factories, more than 10 garment enterprises have increased capital to introduce advanced inspection or sewing equipment, more than 10 shoe companies have imported shoemaking lines, and 4 other well-known shoe enterprises have expanded or built production plants. PTA provincial key construction projects have completed construction of main works such as workshops.

In the first half of this year, Shishi manufacturing industry completed investment in fixed assets of nearly 1 billion 80 million yuan, an increase of 12.7%% over the same period last year.

Among them, textile and garment, weaving and dyeing, footwear industry completed 620 million yuan, an increase of 50%% or so.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of foreign trade and economic cooperation, in the first 6 months of this year, the capital increase of Shishi foreign-funded enterprises was more than 55 million US dollars, and the capital expansion enterprises involved many industries, such as textile machinery, textile and clothing, footwear, food, electrical appliances and so on, of which 4 were over $8 million.
