Quanzhou's two tier leather production enterprises began to turn around.

A few days ago, reporters learned from the Quanzhou Leather Association that since the first half of this year, at least 7 two tier leather production enterprises have been pforming production of the first layer of leather.

The industry believes that the downstream shoe industry downturn is the main reason for the collective production of the two layer leather production enterprises in Quanzhou. However, a lot of financial support is needed for the pfer of production, which will be a difficult problem for other non conversion enterprises.

According to the relevant person in charge of Leather Association, since the first half of this year, there are at least 7 leather and leather enterprises in Anhai, Tins leather industry and Trade Co., Ltd., and so on. The pformation of leather making enterprises at least two has begun to take shape in the first half of this year.

It is reported that the two layer leather is mainly used for low end orders of sports shoes, but in the past year, the downstream footwear export enterprises are generally faced with difficulties, especially low end orders, due to the macro influence at home and abroad. The two tier leather tanning enterprises in Quanzhou also encountered an industry countercurrent. Since last year, two layers of leather leather enterprises in Quanzhou obviously felt that orders were reduced. In the second half of last year, many two level leather enterprises were on the verge of bankruptcy.

In the two tier leather enterprises, while the market is facing a cold spell, the days of Xingye, Feng an and other top grade leather production enterprises are still relatively moist.

According to the above leather association responsible person, compared to the two layer leather market, the top layer leather added value is higher, and the use is more extensive, less affected by the downstream single industry.

But its demand is increasing. On the one hand, with the improvement of the living standard of the people in China, the consumption of the top layer leather products is increasing. On the other hand, although the low end orders of foreign trade shoe enterprises are decreasing, the high-end orders are increasing, which also causes the demand for the top layer skin to increase greatly.

"Driven by the downstream, Xingye and other top grade skin producers are booming this year."

It is precisely this "ice and fire" situation that makes Quanzhou's two layer leather production enterprises move their minds.

But this path of pformation is hard to say.

According to the person in charge, the manufacturing process of the two layers of leather is totally different from that of the top layer. When the skin is pformed into two layers, the enterprise must pay millions of equipment and technology input, so only a few enterprises can do so, and most of the two tier leather production enterprises will still suffer from the cold market.
