UK Retail Giant Martha Department Shoes Sales Fall
< p > British retail giant Martha announced that sales in the UK increased by 0.3% this quarter. Strong food sales offset the decline in sales of < a target= "_blank" href= "http://www.91se91.com/" > clothing < /a > Sales of its food business in the UK market increased by 1.8% over the same period last year. However, the general merchandise (including clothing, < a target= "_blank" href= "http://www.91se91.com/" > shoes < /a, and household goods) fell by 1.6%, falling for eighth consecutive quarters. As a result, about 800 shareholders of Martha's Department questioned the management at the annual meeting of Wembley Stadium. < /p >
