Pearl River Delta Taiwan Business Dilemma
Twenty years ago, Taiwanese businessmen shifted from Taiwan to the mainland. After 20 years of China's economic rise, Taiwan businessmen began tossing and bumping.
It is only this wave of "westward advance", "northward shift" or "down south" that Taiwan businessmen face more tests of "pformation".
Whether to go south to search for the last virgin land or to create more value for pformation and upgrading is a dilemma.
Standing in Beijing's position, the primary manufacturing industry is only "dead end" and "processing trade is no longer consistent with the needs of economic development".
After Beijing issued the directive, local governments had to follow suit.
Local officials began to adjust their mindset, but many things can not be cut across the board.
Zhang Hanwen, President of the Taiwan Business Association, said that there were times when the Ministry of Commerce and the development and Reform Commission came to investigate, "I showed them shoes on the spot. Our special shoes, antistatic, oil and skid resistant are all high-tech products."
He questioned the officials, "do astronauts need not wear shoes?"
Beijing's Giant chief Lin Qing FA also said Giant has more value added to manufacturing because of research and development.
"Not to say that the word" electricity "is called high technology!
In the face of the high officials who came to Dongguan, Zhang Hanwen made speechless speechless speechless speechless speechless speechless speechless words.
"Is the pollution source of the electronic factory not large?
Which is not polluting the downstream manufacturers of electroplating, painting and welding?
Now that the pollution source is turned off, the electronic factory can't do nothing at all.
Beijing's policy is crude, revealing from officials' talk.
"If business is bad, you can raise your offer."
Officials responded to ignorance of the manufacturing industry.
Taking Zhang Hanwen's shoe factory as an example, the price of a pair of shoes has risen from $20 to nearly $fifty, as well as the rise of raw materials and appreciation of the renminbi. In addition to the US recession, "if customers can accept it, I would also like to quote one hundred yuan."
Fortunately, the officials listened and adjusted the "shock therapy" mode.
For the first time, senior government officials talked about the words "advanced manufacturing".
Shenzhen and Dongguan have also begun to adjust their mindset recently, not only to relax the bank's policy of collecting accounts, but also to reduce contract fees and administrative fees.
Industrial upgrading is conducive to creating the blue ocean. In fact, the withdrawal of thousands of Taiwanese and Hong Kong businessmen in Dongguan and Shenzhen has also led to the first decline in local absorption of foreign capital in 30 years.
But Taiwanese businessmen still have to face the problem of "pformation or pfer".
"We must stabilize our position first, and then seek countermeasures". Zhang Hanwen advised Taiwanese businessmen to look at the right path, no matter whether they change or pfer.
At present, Guangdong has set out 24 parks for Taiwanese businessmen to enter, but there are also many Taiwanese businessmen moving out of the province.
Gao Jinle, President of the Chengdu Taiwan Cooperation Association, said that there were quite a number of Taiwanese businessmen visiting Chengdu's neighboring development zones in the first half of this year. "But many have not made final decisions yet."
Lin Qingfa, President of Beijing Taiwan Association, said that the famous crown leather factory in Zhongshan, Guangdong, has planned to migrate to Luzhou.
"Industrial upgrading is a must," said Lin Qing FA. "But it depends on the conditions."
He said that the crown and leather products made both inside and outside the market were moved to Luzhou because of the fact that Luzhou was located at the Changjiang port.
Hong Jiasheng, general manager of new Bao Ming board company in Shenzhen, said that considering the long duration, pformation or pfer should be carried out simultaneously.
He believes that to enhance the production process, in order to allow the company to create a "blue ocean" and remain invincible.
In addition to winning the mainland by high-end products and diversity, New Baoli has invested in Huizhou to build a factory and run it continuously.
Kampuchea's environment is more secure than Vietnam. In the past nine years, when Guo Shanhui moved on to the Daling mountains, he took the downstream manufacturers of several dozen companies to open up new territories. Wang Yongqing went to Ningbo and Beilun to develop the petrochemical industry, attracting hundreds of downstream manufacturers.
Huang Shuangzhao, general manager of Shenzhen run Yi Technology Co., Ltd., a supporting plant of Foxconn, said, "we are the same, so that we can survive."
Many Taiwanese businessmen focus their attention on Vietnam.
Although Wang Taiyun, chairman of Shanghai Lian Tai Company, said that Vietnam is still a virgin land, it can be used as a backyard for Taiwanese businessmen for a long time.
However, Vietnam's recent economic crisis, high inflation and foreign trade plunged the Taiwanese businessmen in Vietnam.
Zhang Hanwen said that Vietnam's population will be eighty million, and it will still be short of labor in the future.
Xu Jingfu, deputy chief executive of Shenzhen Taiwan Alliance Youth Federation, believes that the right industry is to be boycotted.
"As the garment industry was boycotted by the European Union, furniture was boycotted by the United States, and no dumping duty was imposed on Vietnam. Candles exported to the United States one hundred and 8% tariffs, naturally moved to zero tariff Vietnam."
"Kampuchea can also be considered, where the cost is low, workers are obedient, and are more secure than Vietnam". In the eyes of Zhang Hanwen, Kampuchea is the virgin land after many Vietnamese businessmen.
Through the Ministry's guidance, we hope that the low taxes and land labor costs will be low in the future, plus the "ten plus one" for two years.
"Stabilizing the army is very important. I believe a lot of policies will slow down." Xie Qingyuan, vice president of the Dongguan Taiwan Cooperation Association, said that the Taiwan Electric Power Association is going to set up a Taiwanese investment promotion and pformation counseling center in Dongguan. The Ministry of economic affairs also sent people to help manufacturers, which means "it will be better later."
In the last ten years of the last century, the traditional manufacturing industry in Taiwan launched an unprecedented movement across the sea, finally settled in Guangdong, and developed the coastal industry into a global manufacturing industry after 20 years.
Twenty years later, Taiwanese businessmen are facing a new reshuffle.
Go or stay, pformation or pfer, all affect every nerve on both sides of the Strait.
