Fujian Quanzhou Industry Leveraging Hongkong TDC To International

"Hongkong's service industry combined with Quanzhou's manufacturing industry is a complementary and win-win cooperation. Cooperation between Quanzhou and Hongkong is very beneficial for Hongkong enterprises to use Hongkong platform and absorb international frontiers and advanced experience."

Twenty-one Hongkong Trade Development Council and Fujian Quanzhou municipal government signed the memorandum of trade and economic cooperation here.

According to the agreement, Hongkong's TDC will set up a regional brand for Quanzhou by strengthening the exhibition industry cooperation and online business platform links to Quanzhou's characteristic industrial clusters and key export industrial bases, and rapidly promoting the cluster industry of Quanzhou to international brands, such as Quanzhou footwear, Shishi clothing, Nanan stone, Anxi tea and many other regional brands.

In addition, Hongkong TDC will provide tailored services to Quanzhou's development enterprises in Quanzhou, such as trade matching, brand building, enterprise financing, procurement and sales channels expansion, according to the industrial characteristics and economic characteristics of Hong Kong.

Huang Jinhui, vice president of the Hongkong Trade Development Council, said that the Hongkong Trade Development Council held more than 300 trade promotion activities around the world every year. Hongkong TDC is willing to share this abundant resource with Quanzhou enterprises and help Quanzhou enterprises to develop a broader overseas market. Quanzhou enterprises can use this platform to build brands and promote their products.

It is understood that the two sides of Quangang will strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two enterprises in the form of workshops and training courses to promote the development of Quanzhou enterprises in Hong Kong. The two sides set up working groups to exchange information and research reports regularly, providing the latest international situation for Quanzhou's government or enterprises.

Zou Erjun, deputy director of the Hongkong Port Economic Cooperation Promotion Committee, who participated in the signing ceremony, said that in order to make better use of the advantages of the Hongkong TDC, the Commission and the Hongkong TDC have formulated a series of plans to promote Fujian's regional brands, including organizing Jinjiang enterprises to participate in the "Asian sporting goods exhibition" in late October and organizing the Fujian Shishi clothing area next year in Hongkong fashion week.

Lin Tianfu, President of Hongkong's TDC, visited Quanzhou in June this year. She has indicated that Hongkong and Quanzhou can establish closer economic and trade cooperation relations. Hongkong's TDC is willing to do more for the cooperation between the two enterprises.

Within two months, Hongkong TDC has fulfilled its commitments.

The signing of the memorandum of economic and trade cooperation has pushed Quangang's economic and trade cooperation to a new stage.

Quanzhou is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. The number of Quanzhou residents living abroad is about seven million, and that of Quanzhou people in Hongkong is nearly eight hundred thousand.

The economic and trade exchanges between Quanzhou and Hongkong are very close, and Hong Kong's early entry into Quanzhou has played a unique role in the economic development of Quanzhou.
