The textile and garment industry is a traditional competitive industry in Jimo. After the joint training of the Jimo Quality Supervision Bureau and other departments, it has now formed an industrial system of various kinds of textile, such as knitted, woven, printing and dyeing, garments and so on. At present, Jimo has been awarded the title of "China famous knitted city" by the China knitwear Association and has been identified as the only "textile and garment industrial cluster" in Shandong province.
"Now the enterprises in the demonstration area can directly enjoy the exemption inspection, verification supervision and general supervision and supervision mode provided by the quality inspection department. In addition to carrying out a supervision and audit every year, only through the convenience measures such as electronic supervision and green channel, the report will be implemented immediately. It will not only shorten the clearance time, but also save the cost of the enterprise by 400 Yu Wanyuan per year in accordance with the supervision mode of exemption from inspection and co inspection." Jimo City Commerce Bureau official said.
It is understood that there have been a number of brand enterprises in the demonstration area, namely, hair, red collar, snow, red, and so on. In addition, there are 3 Chinese brand names, 8 well-known trademarks in China and 28 famous brands in Shandong in the demonstration area.
Driven by the demonstration area, at present, Jimo has developed more than 1600 textile and garment enterprises, forming a complete set of production and marketing system from raw materials supply, fiber to design, manufacturing and sales. In the first half of this year, the export value of 89 enterprises in the demonstration area amounted to US $420 million.
