Now, the five Wenzhou private enterprises from "China Shoes Capital" want to build a "Central Asian shoe capital" in Uzbekistan, the ancient Silk Road, hoping to reproduce the prosperous trade in the past.

Yesterday, the delegation of the Wenzhou Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau arrived in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan, and held talks with the Minister of foreign trade and economic affairs, the Minister of economy, the director of the Customs Committee and the governor of the central bank. The central issue is that five Wenzhou private enterprises plan to set up industrial parks in the country and introduce China's advanced tanning and shoemaking technology into Central Asia.

Uzbekistan is a famous ancient country of "the Silk Road". It has been in contact with our country through the Silk Road in history.

Uzbekistan, with an area of 447 thousand square kilometers and a population of about 26000000, is the most populous country in Central Asia.

Wenzhou Ouhai Nan long tannery is the lead enterprise of "Central Asia shoe capital".

In October 2005, the Nong tannery jointly established the "SING LONG" leather factory in Tashkent with the "SING LONG" company in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and is committed to leather processing and production.

Since the leather factory was put into operation in May 2006, it has produced 200 thousand pieces of cowhide, which has solved hundreds of labor force employment problems, and the products are mainly exported to China.

Through these production practices, Nan long has a deep and detailed understanding of leather industry and shoemaking industry in the country: Uzbekistan has rich leather resources to be developed urgently, and Wenzhou's leather making and shoemaking have such advantages.

At present, Wenzhou enterprises are facing a painful period of pformation, and the internationalization of production and operation has become an inevitable trend.

China's small and medium-sized enterprises are accelerating the pace of going out, but only by relying on one enterprise to run factories abroad, the risk is large and the cost is high. How to give full play to their advantages and drive more enterprises to develop rapidly and well outside the country has become an urgent problem for them.

Under such circumstances, the "tug of arms" mode came into being, that is, a business led by foreign enterprises, and other enterprises stationed in the region to complement each other and develop together.

This time, the "Central Asia shoe city" project led by Nan long tannery, led Li Da shoes industry, smooth footwear industry, velk shoes industry and Jinsheng trade limited company to go out.

At the same time, the Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau provided a full range of tracking services, stepped up communication with Uzbekistan, and helped solve the related problems in the project process, and promoted the project to land as soon as possible.

Pan Pingping, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of foreign trade and economic cooperation, who led the talks, said that Uzbekistan attaches great importance to the guests from the "China Shoes Capital". In August 29th, the first vice premier of the country, A Zimov, will meet with the delegation of Wenzhou and sign a cooperation agreement.

According to the introduction, the project has about 20 hectares of land, mainly for leather and finished shoes.

The project is divided into two phases. After the completion of the first phase of the project, 300 thousand pieces of leather and 600 thousand pairs of leather shoes can be produced annually. The two phase will produce 4 million pairs of finished shoes annually, and will be exposed to Russia, the UAE and the surrounding countries and regions.
