Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology Opens The Ninth "Science, Art And Fashion" Festival

The Ninth "science, art and fashion" festival of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology was held on October 22nd to 27 in Beijing campus. In October 22nd, leaders of the Ministry of education, Beijing and trade associations attended the opening ceremony.

This year's "science, art and fashion" festival has launched the "Dunhuang dress art exhibition". The exhibition opened the three "first" of Dunhuang art communication. For the first time, Dunhuang art was presented in a special way. For the first time, the Dunhuang art was exhibited by static, dynamic, academic forums, music and dance performances. Dunhuang art first entered the institutions of higher learning.

The Dunhuang dress art exhibition jointly launched by the Dunhuang grotto protection research foundation, the Dunhuang Art Research Institute and the three Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology has selected thirty-two famous Dunhuang scientists, including Chang Shuhong, Li Chengxian, Duan Wenjie, Ouyang Lin, Huo Xiliang, Shi Wei Xiang, Li Qiqiong, Wan ganger, and so on. The authentic paintings of the Dunhuang murals and more than 70 pieces of Dunhuang super caves have been restored.

The Dunhuang costume art exhibition shows Mr. Chang Sha Na (Mr. Chang Shuhong's daughter), a special professor of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, and the more than one hundred of the Dunhuang calendar paintings by her students. The exhibition also selected the typical costumes of the frescoes in Dunhuang as an image restoration sample, and restored 8 sets of 14 costumes.

A famous academic expert in the "Dunhuang costume and ancient costume culture academic forum", which is a rare high level academic meeting in the clothing industry, has keynote speech and has carried out extensive academic exchanges with teachers and students. The forum is the best inheritance of Dunhuang art.

Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology students take Dunhuang art elements as the theme of the design, refine the elements of Dunhuang art, explore and explore the possibility of Dunhuang elements in modern design applications, and make innovative designs from various forms, materials and techniques. In the way of contemporary people's understanding and love, they are applied in the innovative design works such as sculpture, painted sculpture, lacquer painting and so on. In this way, the derivatives of various kinds of Dunhuang elements are exhibited in this Dunhuang art exhibition in a dynamic and static way. The Dunhuang art exhibition lasted for 20 days. With the historical context of Dunhuang as a clue, the costumes tradition as a "Kingdom of clothes" is thoroughly displayed, which is of great significance for raising the awareness of Chinese people's clothing culture, enhancing the soft power of Chinese culture and building "beautiful China".
