Putian Shoe Clothing City Completed In Late October

Fujian Putian footwear garment city, which is scheduled to open in late October, has entered the countdown stage.

Although the project has not yet been completed, so far, shoes and clothing city has sold more than 620 shops, 1 of which are already full, and another 355 households require more than 1400 shops to rent. Due to inadequate supply, more than 600 shops have been approved to rent by qualification.

Up to now, shoes and clothing city has attracted more than 500 professional enterprises, including many "Red Dragonfly", "Yi Er Kang" leather shoes, "Jin Hao" leather and many other state-level brand-name enterprises; Jinjiang's China shoes capital, Wenzhou's largest southern Zhejiang shoe material market and other hundred industry giants are settled.

And most enterprises have passed substantive investment negotiations, settled in the margin payment and other stages.

Footwear industry is traditionally the traditional pillar industry in Putian. There are more than 2000 shoe factories in Putian, with an annual output value of 17 billion, ranking the first among the ten largest industrial clusters in the city.

However, there are only more than 200 enterprises in scale, and more than 80% of the raw materials for shoemaking need to be purchased from abroad, which accounts for 70% of the total output value.

In early 2007, the Putian municipal Party committee and the municipal government decided to build a professional market for footwear materials in the West for 3 years.
