Magic Costume Helps Paralyzed People To Walk Again

The Spanish digital newspaper reported that the Israelis Radi Kaiov, who had been paralyzed 20 years ago, was finally restanding with the aid of an electronic bone garment.

The electronic skeleton garment, called "Rewalk", is designed by Amit Goff, the founder of an Israeli technology company. It combines a substance similar to crustacean skeletons and the armor of heroes of the comic strip "Iron Man" to help those paralyzed below the waist to walk upright and climb stairs.

This system is equipped with support for patient walking, consisting of an electric leg support, a sensor mounted on the trunk, a backpack with a computer control box and a rechargeable battery.

The user can choose to stop, sit, walk, fall or rise through the remote control on the wrist, then lean forward and start the sensor on the body to move the machine leg forward.
