There are 35 million tons of waste corncob in the whole country each year, which can produce 3 million tons of polylactic acid. And polyester is separated and refined from petroleum, and 1000 tons of polyester fiber is extracted, which consumes 7907 barrels of oil, that is 1 million 470 thousand liters of gasoline.

    Changshou City Changjiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. and the new City Kai Sheng Enterprise Development Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Tonghui group and so on, reached a preliminary cooperation intention to develop T-shirts, home accessories, high-grade blankets, and Changshou City saninai Textile Co., Ltd. and Wuhan University of Science and Engineering to discuss the downstream brand clothing industry chain cooperation; and Japan's Itochu fiber trading company to discuss foreign agents and domestic brand clothing applications.

    Changshu Changjiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. produces polyester industrial yarn with an annual output of 6000 tons and sales income of 70 million yuan.

    In recent years, the number of polyester industrial yarn production enterprises has increased rapidly, and equipment and technology have been constantly updated.

    In 2006, Changshu Changjiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. and the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly developed "one-step polylactic acid spinning process and technology". The project was included in the national "863 Plan" and the China Textile Industry Association Science and technology guidance project, broke through the bottleneck of the key equipment and process technology from the lactic acid to the polylactic acid melt spinning process directly. By the end of last year, the company had completed the annual output of 50 tons of polylactic acid fiber pilot plant, and its core technology has won 1 invention patents.

    Before building polylactic acid fiber in Changshou City Changjiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., the United States has built an annual output of 150 thousand tons of polylactic acid chips, but the application of polylactic acid technology has been strictly confidential.

    Changshou City Changjiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. not only breaks the monopoly of technology, but also has the highest spinning technology.

    After the appraisal by the China Textile Industry Association, the "one-step spinning" developed by Changshou City Changjiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., compared with the "slice spinning" adopted by the United States, has reduced the production cost and ensured the quality of the fibers.

    At present, Changshou City Changjiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. has begun to convert the pilot results of polylactic acid to industrialization. By the end of this year, the production line with an annual output of 500 tons will be completed, and 33 mu of land will be requisitioned to build factories in Tung Bang Town Development Zone. It is estimated that in 3 years, the production capacity of 10 thousand tons of PLA fiber will be reached, and the annual sales revenue will exceed 300 million yuan.
