"The European economy is on the edge of recession and is suffering from high inflation," the association said. "Therefore, any continuation of any anti-dumping measures will have a more negative impact on low-income consumers, who are the main users of Asian shoes."

"Our business has been waiting for the decision of the European Committee. If you really start the sunset review, of course our business will continue to fight."

Guo Weiwen, Secretary General of the world's footwear industry and the Guangdong anti dumping Union, emphasized to reporters: "in fact, we have already made such preparations for enterprises."
