The textile industry association also pointed out that in the first 10 months, cotton yarn imported from Indonesia, the United States and Thailand also showed a relatively rapid growth. The import volume was 55 thousand tons, 47 thousand tons and 39 thousand tons, respectively, up 131.2%, 163.7% and 128.5% respectively.

Textile chamber of Commerce analysis said that in the first 10 months of this year, China's cotton yarn imports generally increased, mainly from domestic and overseas. cotton The price gap is high. According to reports, the first three quarters of the domestic and foreign cotton price difference remained at around 4000 yuan / ton.

Data show that in 1-10 months, the average import price of the national cotton yarn is 3.26 US dollars / kg, which is only 2/3 of the average export price of my cotton yarn. Textile chamber of Commerce bluntly said that although China's cotton imports are subject to quotas, cotton yarn imports are not subject to quota control. Therefore, in the case of increasing price difference inside and outside cotton, the domestic textile enterprises imported cotton yarn in the first 10 months of this year.

It is noteworthy that after the second half of October, the spread of cotton prices at home and abroad is still expanding. According to the data provided by the textile chamber of Commerce, the price difference between the domestic and foreign cotton reached 4600 yuan / ton in early 10, but by the end of 11, the price difference between the domestic and foreign cotton reached 5400 yuan / ton, and the difference between inside and outside was further widened.
