According to statistics, in the total volume of e-commerce transactions of 10560 billion yuan, B2B transactions amounted to 863 billion 200 million yuan, an increase of 28.6% over the same period last year; the volume of online shopping (B2C/C2C) transactions was 192 billion 800 million yuan, an increase of 74.5% over the same period last year. Compared with other provinces and cities online shopping transactions accounted for the size of the e-commerce market "big head", Shanghai e-commerce advantage in B2B is obviously more obvious, B2B trading accounted for more than 80%. City Commerce Commission explained that this is because with the acceleration of the manufacturing service process, manufacturing industry has become the largest e-commerce application in the city, and the contribution of steel, nonferrous metals, chemicals, automobiles and other commodity e-commerce platforms has increased year by year.
In this process, more and more traditional manufacturing enterprises are turning to e-commerce. In the Shanghai iron and steel comprehensive service industry base, Baosteel has gathered a batch of processing, sales, consulting and other national steel service enterprises, and steel and electricity business accounts for more than 60% of the whole country.
