It has been exported to many countries and has been praised as "the top of the motherland" by Chinese and foreign businessmen.

On the magical land of Taishan, he has created miracles and experienced great splendor. However, most of the former brands have already become good memories.

What caused these brands to fade away?

The glory of Taishan's small household appliances is a microcosm of the industrial economic development of the city.

In the 80s of last century, with the spring breeze of reform and opening up, Taishan's industrial economy entered a period of rapid development, and the level of industrial development was unprecedented.

Since 1983, the relevant departments of the state have begun to select quality products. By 1997, "made in Taishan" has been awarded 28 kinds of "national superior products", and 18 products have been awarded "special award of state departments".

Since 1981, the bicycle chain has formed a series of products of various specifications. In 1986, 74 bicycle manufacturers including Phoenix, permanent, Golden Lion and so on all chose the bicycle chain cover of Taishan. Its annual output and sales volume ranked the top of the country's similar products.

Finally, for various reasons, the bicycle chain factory in Taishan was shut down in 1997.

In 1963, the chemical reagent "picric acid" was presided over by the predecessor of the Taishan chemical plant, the technician of Taishan pharmaceutical factory. At that time, it was "the first" and "the only" in the whole country, and became the main product of the plant.

In 1985, Taishan's Xinning pharmaceutical factory developed the main raw material for preparing stomach medicine, which is "super fine bismuth nitrate", which fills the gap of the year.

However, these pioneered products are not bigger and stronger, and some even disappear in the sight of people.

In this regard, Taishan economic and Trade Bureau stakeholders told reporters that some products were well-known in the country and occupy a certain market, but the market is changing rapidly, others constantly adjust the product mix and varieties, while Taishan manufacturers can not keep up with the pace of the times, or even complacent, and finally be eliminated by the market, this is inevitable.

Cao Mingyuan was in charge of the propaganda work of the Taishan economic and trade director. He entered the economic and trade system in 1972 and retired in 1989, witnessing the Taishan industrial brand from the beginning of the development to the brilliance and the gradual decline.

"In the late 80s of last century, Taishan Shunde, which has learned advanced experience and almost bankrupted, is now popular across the country."
