    In July 1, 2008, the European Court ruled that DecaBDE in Europe could no longer be used in electrical and electronic products.

    The parties concerned can submit comments by the online questionnaire at the latest by December 15, 2013.

    The proposal is expected to be introduced in August 1, 2014.

    In December 2012, DecaBDE was included in the list of candidate substances for REACH legislation.

    During the proposed process, Norway recommended that DecaBDE be included in the Stockholm persistent organic pollutants agreement.
