According to GB/T 19941-2005 "determination of formaldehyde content in leather and fur chemistry", GB/T 2912.1-2009 "determination of formaldehyde content in textiles", GB/T19942-2005 "determination of azo dyes in leather and fur chemistry test", GB/T 17592-2011 "determination of prohibited azo dyes in textiles" and GB/T 22807-2008 "determination of six valent chromium in leather and fur chemical tests", detected the contents of free formaldehyde, decomposable aromatic amine dyes and six valent chromium in adult shoes and leisure shoes products, and conducted risk assessment based on test results.

This risk monitoring collected 50 batches of samples. After testing, free formaldehyde was detected in different parts of the 37 batches of samples, of which 4 batches were more than 75 mg/kg, and the detected parts were shoe or inner pads. The decomposition of harmful aromatic amine dyes was detected in 2 batches of samples, but their contents were not more than 30mg/kg. Six valent chromium was detected in 9 batches of samples, of which 4 batches exceeded 10mg/kg, and the detected parts were shoe or inner pads. Considering the seriousness of risk and the possibility of risk, the risk level of leather shoes and shoes and inner mats is "medium risk".

Shanghai quality and Technology Supervision Bureau said that it has informed the relevant production enterprises and the local quality and technology supervision departments of the results of risk monitoring, urged enterprises to strictly implement the national standards, strengthen quality control, and reduce or eliminate the risk of quality and safety.
