Textile Enterprises Must Prepare For Inspection And Quarantine As Early As Possible.

In order to meet the needs of the development of foreign trade and promote the healthy and steady development of China's import and export trade, the AQSIQ recently issued the notice on the relevant work of adjusting the contents of the law inspection catalogue, and adjusted the import and export catalogue of the entry exit inspection and quarantine institutions (hereinafter referred to as the list of legal inspection).

Since January 1, 2009, some catalogues of primary textiles, mineral products, industrial raw materials, leather products, hardware tools, small household electrical appliances, and some stone materials have been pferred to the "law inspection catalogue", involving 10 current HS coding 640.

Since January 1, 2009, some tobacco substitutes, chemical products, daily necessities, infants and children's clothing, shirts, pajamas, swimsuits, household appliances and sanitary appliances that can be used for food additives have been pferred to the "law inspection catalogue" or to the customs supervision and administration of import and export customs, involving 10 current HS coding 354.

According to the briefing, due to the large adjustment scope of this law inspection catalogue, especially for the first time that some products were included in the list of legal examination (such as infant and children's clothing, knitted T-shirt sweater products), some related production enterprises had never handled the inspection and quarantine inspection business before.

To this end, Shishi inspection and quarantine department said that the relevant enterprises should make preparations for inspection as early as possible to ensure the smooth export of products.
