However, Shenzhen has a good economic fundamentals, and Shenzhen's pformation and upgrading is earlier and its structure is reasonable. High and new technologies provide strong competitiveness for the development of enterprises.

According to the statistics of Shenzhen customs, Shenzhen's foreign trade export amounted to 179 billion 720 million US dollars in 2008, winning the first place in the country for 16 consecutive years, occupying 1/7 export share of the whole country.

Mechanical and electrical products exported 138 billion 370 million US dollars, an increase of 11.5%, accounting for 77% of the total export value of Shenzhen in the same period.

Among them, the export of electrical and electronic products was 76 billion 630 million US dollars, an increase of 15.8%, and the export of high and new technology products was 90 billion 30 million US dollars, an increase of 13.5%.
