Raw Leather Import Tax Leather Industry Crisis

Although the government has repeatedly emphasized the fight against livestock smuggling, there has been no action so far, and livestock breeding has dropped to an alarming level.

ACCC intends to consider limiting aromatic amines. The Federal Minister responsible for consumer protection has agreed with ACCC to work out a solution. ACCC will make an additional cost assessment in advance, then proceed with the development of restrictive measures and inform the WTO Secretariat.
