US Cotton Exports: Net Contract Volume Greatly Reduced China'S Massive Breach Of Contract (8.29-9.4)

The United States: in 2014/15, the US cotton initial inventory dropped by 33 thousand tons, and the output was reduced by 209 thousand tons. The main reason was that after second surveys of USDA, Texas, Georgia and Arkansas declined significantly.

Domestic consumption remained stable and export volume was reduced by 152 thousand tons due to reduced production and import demand.

The final inventory was 1 million 132 thousand tons, down 87 thousand tons, and the inventory consumption ratio was nearly 38%.

Global: China's initial inventory increase in 2014/15 and the beginning of the year in India led to an increase of 74 thousand tonnes in the global initial period.

Output in India, West Africa and Turkey has increased, while output in the US, Argentina and Uzbekistan has been reduced.

After reassessment, consumption in Pakistan decreased in 2012/13, the consumption volume decreased by 109 thousand tons from last month, while global consumption increased by 4%.

In addition, Pakistan's import volume has been cut down, while Turkey and India have also reduced imports because of increased production, but Vietnam's imports have increased.
