    Domestic brands surged from 187 in 2009 to 458 in 2013, with the highest growth rate approaching 50% in 2011. At the same time, the market share increased from 36.39% in 2008 to 51.4% in 2013.

    However, the continuous increase in quantity has not yet brought about "qualitative" changes. The domestic high-end outdoor market is still dominated by international brands.

    In 2013, the number of outdoor brand brands in China has reached 891, but the number of brands shipped by more than 10 million yuan is only 77. The number of brands shipped over 100 million yuan is 22, and the 22 brands' shipments account for 55.36% of the total annual industry shipments.
