Sun Ruizhe, director of information center, said that in the process of evaluating the competitiveness of enterprises, a prominent feature is the growth potential of enterprises and the ability to innovate.

The operation mainly follows 5 principles: first, the elements, mainly inspecting the manpower quality and assets quality of enterprises, evaluating the allocation efficiency of enterprises' production factors; two, innovating the evaluation, evaluating the innovation performance of enterprises in the aspects of scientific and technological progress, product development, R & D investment and so on; three, the evaluation of the characteristics of the industry, and the ability to respond to the textile epidemic and seasonal characteristics according to the characteristics of the industry; the rapid reaction capability of enterprises is an important feature of the competitiveness of enterprises; four is the evaluation of the scale and profitability; and five is the growth assessment of enterprises in the future.

This year's competitiveness evaluation has set up two awards, namely, "the best innovation enterprise" and "the best growth enterprise" for the first time, aiming at promoting the independent innovation and efficient growth of enterprises from the aspects of enterprise innovation level, resource allocation efficiency and growth speed.

According to Xia Lingmin, director of the evaluation team and deputy director of the Information Department of the China Textile Industry Association, when evaluating the competitiveness of enterprises, not only the innovative methods and innovative performance of enterprises are taken into account, but also the innovative consciousness of enterprises is taken into account.

The "best innovation enterprise award" is based on data to see whether the enterprise has high R & D input, a large proportion of new product output value and high added value of products. At the same time, if the enterprise has won the scientific and technological progress award of the state or association, it will also increase its innovation capability score.

The "best growth enterprise award" is concerned with the growth rate of revenue and profit in recent years. It not only requires fast growth but also keeps continuous growth.

Evaluation activities have effectively promoted the overall competitiveness of the textile industry.

Since 2005, enterprises above Designated Size have been making rapid progress in production, sales and profits, and have made varying degrees of progress in optimizing the allocation of key elements, strengthening innovation capabilities and improving the ability to respond quickly.

The average income of enterprises increased by 26.29% and profits increased by 35.81% over the previous year.

More and more enterprises attach importance to information construction.

In addition, non-state-owned enterprises show strong competitiveness.

Compared with state-owned enterprises, non state owned enterprises, which rely on their advantages such as historical burden, flexible system and good management, have shown prominently in both industry status and development potential, and become the main force to enhance industrial competitiveness at present.

In 2005, the total industrial output value of non state-owned enterprises increased by 28.12%, which was 2.15% higher than the average growth rate of the whole industry, and the sales revenue increased by 2.39% over the whole industry. The average growth rate of assets was 3.52% higher than that of the whole industry.

The industrial cluster mode has the most competitive potential.

Since the end of 2002,

More than 100 cluster experiments have been successively named.

Although these pilot enterprises are generally small in size, they have become a new force in the competitive pattern of China's textile industry by getting rid of the increasing cost pressure, the weakness of capital and the inability to develop the brand through the form of cluster.

In 2005, the profit margin of cluster mode was 1.6 percentage points higher than that of large scale enterprises.
