In October 16, 2014, the Jiangsu (Shengze) Textile Expo was held in a grand opening.

As one of the important activities of the Expo, "Jiangsu's textile and clothing summit" is scheduled to be held on the basis of "steady growth, structural adjustment and accelerated pformation and development".

For structural adjustment and steady growth, he gave advice from four aspects: analyzing the market, training talents, adjusting finance and optimizing the industrial chain.

In 2013, Jiangsu textile industry achieved 1 trillion and 300 billion yuan of main business income, and has entered the ranks of trillions of industries for four consecutive years.

The textile and garment industry has played an important supporting role in promoting economic growth, structural adjustment and people's livelihood in our province.

In the 1-8 month of this year, the main business income of Jiangsu textile industry increased by 869 billion 610 million yuan, an increase of 5.6% over the same period last year. The profit in 1-8 months was 37 billion 580 million yuan, an increase of 11.6% over the same period last year, and the growth rate of profit was higher than that of the speed increase. The structural adjustment effect was obvious.

From the perspective of economic operation, the scale, efficiency and export growth are relatively stable.

The textile and garment industry in Jiangsu has taken the initiative to carry out industrial pformation and upgrading and take the initiative to carry out industrial restructuring.

In the speech, the deputy secretary and mayor of Shengze town said that Shengze already owns 18 state-level textile development bases, including national silk product development base, national simulation silk fabric development base, national fashion fabric development base, National Men's wear fabric product development base, and national cold proof clothing fabric development base, accounting for 16% of the national textile development base.

From the promotion of fabric to the entire textile industry, and shaping the first Textile Expo in Jiangsu (Shengze) as an international forum for the cultivation and incubation of creative talents in textile and textile industry, the textile industry upgrading is promoted by cultural creativity, and the sustainable development of Jiangsu textile industry is promoted.
