Kering Opens The Cloud To Appoint The New CEO For Its Three Brands.
Global The third luxury group, France Kering (Kai Yun), has appointed a new CEO for its three largest brands.
Italy's luxury brands Brioni, Bottega Veneta and Scotland designer brand Christopher Kane all have new leaders. This is also one of the series of initiatives taken by Kering to streamline the company's organization and strengthen the luxury sector.
Brioni's new CEO Gianluca Flore has been working in Kering since 2008, and is currently the president of Bottega Veneta Americas. Flore has also worked in Italy's luxury brand Fendi and Italy luxury underwear brand La Perla, LVMH.
Bottega Veneta's new CEO: Carlo Alberto Beretta has been a senior purchasing director of Italy family business and high-end men's wear brand Ermenegildo Zegna (Zegna) for the past 11 years.
Christopher Kane's new CEO Sarah Crook has been the director of purchasing and business development of Stella McCartney, a female designer in the United Kingdom since 2004, and then vice president.
The three CEO will go to the Kering group, "luxury fashion and leather goods" department chief executive officer Marco Bizzarri report 。
In 2013, the profits of Kering were greatly reduced by the retail business which was being divestiture, and the group debt increased. However, the structural transformation has begun to show results.
In the first half of 2014, Kering sales revenue was 4 billion 747 million euros, an increase of 1.5% over the same period last year, which increased by 4% compared to the same period (excluding restructuring and exchange rate effects).
