Footwear manufacturers in Central American countries strongly urge the government to invest in the establishment of a shoe sole processing plant.

AlejandroDelgado, chairman of the Nicaragua footwear and leather industry association, recently told local media that he believed the Pan American Development Bank would be willing to support the plan.
